From a mission committed to providing personal integral education to its students, PAREF has grown into a network of 18 schools that has touched the lives of thousands of students, families, educators, and alumni across generations.

As we celebrate 50 years of PAREF, we look back on the milestones that shaped our journey—from the establishment of our first school in 1977 to the continued expansion of our educational mission up until today. Each school added to the system tells a story of faith, excellence, character formation, and a steadfast commitment to developing future leaders who serve society with competence and integrity.

Last July 18, parents from PAREF Southcrest School, PAREF Southdale Preschool, PAREF Springdale School, and PAREF Paref Preschool Labangon gathered for the PAREF Cebu New Parents Orientation at the Astra Lifestyle Center.

The program introduced new families to PAREF's educational philosophy and the shared mission of forming children of character.

Manolo and Marie Escueta, Head for Parent Formation at PAREF, delivered the session on "Understanding PAREF," explaining the three pillars of PAREF formation—parents, teachers, and students. They underscored the importance of strengthening each pillar to effectively guide and raise children through a collaborative partnership between home and school.

It was followed by a presentation on the Educhild Program by Atty. Eli Jumao-as, who introduced Educhild as the school's partner in implementing its parent formation program. He outlined the various formation activities designed to support families through the different stages of their family life, helping parents grow in their role as the primary educators of their children.

The gathering reaffirmed PAREF Cebu schools' commitment to working closely with families in the integral formation of every student.
