Harvest Christian School International Launches Scholarship Programs to Reward Excellence and Support Families

💵CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES – Harvest Christian School International (HCSI) is pleased to announce the opening of its new Academic Scholarship Programs for the upcoming school year. Designed to recognize outstanding academic achievement, these grants represent the school’s commitment to making quality, values-based education accessible while fostering a shared responsibility among students, parents, and the institution.

✅The HCSI Academic Scholarship Program offers three distinct levels of tuition fee waivers for qualifying incoming Grade 7 students. These merit-based awards are intended to support families with educational costs while encouraging students to strive for academic and personal excellence.

✅SCHOLARSHIP LEVELS AND ELIGIBILITY
The scholarships are open to Filipino citizens who are Grade 6 completers with a satisfactory conduct record from their previous school. The awards are categorized as follows (limited slots available):

SCHOLARSHIP CATEGORY:
💽• Platinum Academic Grant (100% Tuition Fee Waiver): Awarded to students who achieved Highest Honors with a final Grade 6 General Weighted Average (GWA) of 98% and above.
📀• Gold Academic Grant (50% Tuition Fee Waiver): Awarded to students who achieved High Honors with a final Grade 6 GWA of 95% to 97.99%.
💿• Silver Academic Grant (25% Tuition Fee Waiver): Awarded to students who achieved Honors with a final Grade 6 GWA of 90% to 94.99%.

Note: The school may consider family income levels (below ₱300,000 for Platinum; below ₱450,000 for Gold; below ₱500,000 for Silver) as an optional factor in grant selection at the discretion of the Management.

✅STANDARDS FOR RETENTION
The scholarship is a privilege that requires consistent effort. To retain the grant, scholars enrolled in the In-Campus/Blended program or the Parent-Led Online Homeschooling program must maintain specific academic and behavioral standards, reviewed each semester:
• Maintain the required minimum quarterly GWA (98% for Platinum; 95% for Gold; 90% for Silver).
• Achieve no grade lower than 85% in any subject.
• Maintain a "Very Satisfactory" conduct rating and observe good attendance.
• Adhere to all school policies as outlined in the Student Manual.
Parental Commitment and Partnership

✅SCHOOL AND PARENTS PARTNERSHIP
HCSI views the scholarship as a partnership. Parents and guardians are expected to support their child’s learning journey by maintaining respectful communication with the school, ensuring timely submission of documents, and complying with all institutional policies. It is important to note that scholarships cover tuition fees only; other costs such as books, uniforms, and miscellaneous fees remain the responsibility of the parent. All applications require a non-refundable ₱500 reservation fee to secure a slot.

✅EXPANSION TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
In a significant expansion, HCSI is now extending these scholarship opportunities to incoming Grade 11 students enrolling in the In-Campus/Blended program or the Parent-Led Online Homeschooling program, particularly for those who may not qualify for the SHS Voucher Program.

✅APPLICATION PROCESS:
Incoming Grade 7 or Grade 11 applicants must submit the following documents through the HCSI Online Registration via Google Form: https://forms.gle/rS1rZkxpkSwNXLUD6

1. Certified true copy of the Grade 6 or Grade 10 Report Card up to 2nd Grading Period
2. Certificate of Ranking issued by the School Principal.
3. Proof of Income (Latest ITR or Barangay Certificate of Indigency).
4. Certificate of Good Moral Character from previous school
5. 2X2 ID Coloured Picture

✅Scholarships are subject to review every semester. Failure to meet academic, behavioral, or attendance requirements may result in the downgrading or termination of the grant. HCSI reserves the right to verify all submitted documents.
