ADVISORY ON THE RESUMPTION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Warm greetings from San Carlos School of Cebu!
Following the announcement of the resumption of face-to-face classes beginning September 10, 2026, the School Administration has carefully assessed the current health, safety, and operational conditions affecting our school community.
After due consideration, San Carlos School of Cebu will resume face-to-face classes on Monday, September 14, 2026.
This decision is guided by our commitment to ensure that the return to campus is safe, healthy, and conducive to learning. In particular, the School is closely considering the prevailing haze/air-quality condition, as we want to allow sufficient time for the situation to improve and avoid compromising the health and well-being of our learners and personnel. We are also taking into consideration the scheduled rotational power interruptions this week, as well as the limited instructional time remaining before the weekend.
Rather than bringing our learners back to campus for only a very limited period under conditions that may still pose health and operational concerns, we believe that it is more prudent to allow additional time for conditions to stabilize and to prepare for a more meaningful and safe return to face-to-face learning.
Thus, online classes will continue until Friday, September 11, 2026, following the schedules and arrangements provided by the respective grade levels. Face-to-face classes will resume on Monday, September 14, 2026.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support as we make this decision with the best interests of our learners, teachers, and the entire SCSC community in mind.
Our priority remains clear: to ensure that when our students return to campus, they return to an environment that is safe, healthy, and ready for learning.
