Congratulations to the 2𝑵𝑫 𝑷𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑬𝑹𝑺 of 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒛𝒃𝒐𝒘𝒍 during the 13𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝑺𝑴𝑬 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕'𝒔 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 with the theme, “Empowering Filipino Mechanical Engineers Towards Sustainable GREEN Industry for A Better Philippines" held on October 11, 2023 at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Philippines. These brilliant minds are proud students of our very own school, the University of Cebu, Main Campus Mechanical Engineering Department. The team was composed of the coach, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐓. 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥 and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐀𝐩𝐚 𝐉𝐫., and the quizbowlers, namely 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐨, and 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐨.

The team ranked second beating the other champions declared in each region all across the Philippines.

This educational feat is truly a moment that will be remembered in the history of mechanical engineering at our own university. Another milestone unlocked, and many more to go!

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of our former active volunteer, 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑨𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒈. He left us due to kidney failure last Monday, October 02, 2023.

John's dedication and selflessness illuminated our community, and his absence will be deeply felt. We extend our deepest condolences to his grieving family, relatives, and close friends.

IEnhenyeros, tomorrow will now be the Industrial Engineering General Orientation with the theme "𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐍: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬, 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲" at the UC Main Engineering Building, AVR. All enrolled BSIE students are required to attend, and attendance will be strictly monitored and checked. The program will start at exactly 8:00 a.m. and run until 12:00 p.m.

Prepare yourself for an insightful event that unites students from various year levels with vibrant hues of oneness.

Also, kindly take note of the color coding per year level: white 🤍 for first years, pink 🩷 for second years, red ❤️for third years, and blue 💙 for fourth years.
