The University of the Visayas has officially kicked off its 3rd International Research Conference on Wednesday, August 19, at the Inday Teresing Auditorium.

International and local researchers from various institutions and sectors gathered for a two-day exchange of research findings, ideas, and insights aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing research across different fields.
Vice President for Finance & QMS Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Espaรฑol emphasized in her opening message the importance of approaching each discussion with clarity, curiosity, and readiness to collaborate throughout the conference.

Also present during the opening program were UV Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou Cabueรฑas and Cebu City Councilor Hon. Philip Zafra, an alumnus of UVโ€™s College of Arts and Sciences.
The two-day conference will feature research presentations and discussions that bring together scholars, professionals, and researchers as they share their work, perspectives, and contributions to the growing research community.

Future educators at the University of the Visayas (UV) took part in a personality development training aimed at preparing them for the demands of the teaching profession on Friday, August 14, at the Doรฑa Andrea Multimedia Center.
The activity, organized by the Career Placement Services and Alumni Relations (CPSAR) in partnership with the College of Education, focused on developing the participantsโ€™ personal skills and confidence as they prepare to enter the education field.
Dr. Ma. Crispy B. Velasco served as the resource speaker, sharing insights and practical guidance on personality development and professional growth.
