USC Finance Club

📦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽: 𝗞𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀! 💚🎒

Last June 9, 2026, the USC Finance Club turned its heart into action at Umapad Elementary School in Mandaue for KwarTalks: Sharing Resources, Shaping Futures, a community service project led by Project Heads Aerianne Etol and Jade Chan that transformed excess funds and a portion of profits from the Shirt Happens merchandise project into hope for young learners.

🏫🤝 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩?

📌 𝗞𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 💰➡️💚
The Finance Club utilized its excess funds to purchase and donate school supplies for children affected by Typhoon Tino, many of whom lost essential learning materials and faced disruptions to their education.

📌 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝘁𝗼-𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 🖍️📓
Notebooks, coloring books, crayons, pencils, rulers, papers, and more were distributed to pupils from Kindergarten to 6th grade, lifting their spirits as Philippine public schools began a new academic year.

📌 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 🫂
The school year may have ended for college students, but the club's generosity never took a break. Every supply bag carried a message of hope, kindness, and solidarity.

✅ 𝙊𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙙:

• Utilized excess funds and Shirt Happens profits to support typhoon-affected children.
• Collected and distributed school supplies to help beneficiaries continue their education.
• Provided immediate educational support for those who lost materials during the disaster.
• Encouraged social responsibility and active participation among Finance Club officers and members.
• Contributed to the recovery and educational well-being of children by meeting their basic school-related needs.

💫 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨:

✅ Supplies Turned Over – A full donation drive successfully delivered to Umapad Elementary School.
✅ A Proper Head Start – Helped students begin their academic year with the tools they needed to learn and thrive.
✅ Beyond Materials, a Message – The initiative reminded young learners that even after a typhoon, there are people rooting for their future.

KwarTalks proved that generosity speaks louder than words and that even small resources, when shared, can shape futures. Thank you to every officer and supporter who made this outreach possible. 💚

The Cluster Elections 2026 officially comes to a close as the SYBEE COMELEC presents the newly elected Cluster Officers of 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

More than numbers on a ballot, this year’s elections reflected the voices, hopes, and participation of BA Carolinians who took the time to vote and take part in shaping the future of the community. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped uphold a fair, peaceful, and transparent electoral process.

To the newly elected leaders, congratulations. With the trust given to you comes the responsibility to serve with sincerity, accountability, and purpose. May your term be guided not only by leadership, but by genuine commitment to the students you represent.

Today marks not just the end of an election season, but the beginning of new responsibilities, new goals, and new opportunities to serve the BA Carolinian community.
