๐ผ๏ธโจ EOC Program Museum Visit โ National Museum of the Philippines, Cebu ๐ต๐ญ๐
As part of the English Only Challenge Program, our students had the enriching opportunity to visit the National Museum of the Philippines โ Cebu, where history came alive through art, artifacts, and cultural displays. This meaningful experience not only deepened their appreciation for Filipino heritage but also gave them a chance to express their thoughts and reflections in English throughout the visit.
From ancient tools and traditional textiles to religious sculptures and contemporary paintings, the museum opened the students' eyes to the rich and diverse history of the Philippines. Many were amazed to discover how much of Cebu's identity has been shaped by both local traditions and foreign influences over the centuries.
Aside from learning about the past, the students also practiced their English skills by engaging in guided discussions, sharing personal insights, and asking thoughtful questions. For many, this was their first time in a museum, and they were inspired by how stories could be told through objects and art.
This visit was not just a lesson in history and cultureโit was a powerful reminder that language can be a tool for deeper understanding and connection. The students left the museum not only more knowledgeable, but more confident in their ability to communicate and express themselves in English.
