𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 & 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿

On March 5, 2026, Athenaeum showcased student creativity and talent at the English Festival and Athenaeum Film Fest 2026 held at ACT Theater.

The morning program featured the showing of Junior High School productions, including original music videos, school ads, and one-shot films. In the afternoon, Grade School students impressed with song interpretations (Grades 1–3), declamation (Grade 4), poem recitation (Grade 5), and Reader’s Theater (Grade 6).

The event highlighted our students’ skills, creativity, and passion for English and the arts.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝗿𝘆𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻

Athenaeum International School officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Mito Kiryo High School last February 13, marking the start of a meaningful partnership between the Philippines and Japan.

Present at the signing were School Vice President for Academics Dr. Joseph Stephen A. Descallar and School Principal Mrs. Jenelyn L. Jacobo, together with Mito Kiryo Principal Mr. Hiromitsu Suzuki and Assistant Principal Mr. Hirokazu Tanaka.

The agreement opens opportunities for student and teacher exchanges, scholarship programs, short-term cultural and sports activities, and professional learning visits. Through this partnership, both schools aim to share best practices, strengthen STEAM education, and deepen cross-cultural understanding.

This five-year partnership is a meaningful step forward in living out our mission as a SCHOOL FOR GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP - opening doors for our students to build genuine connections, embrace diverse cultures, and grow into globally minded individuals. ✨

What a week for Athenaeum International School! We kicked it off with the exciting conclusion of , where Fire Nation emerged as champions for Grade School and Kyoshi’s Warriors claimed victory for Junior High School.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming our guests from Mito Kiryo High School for a short but meaningful cultural exchange with our Junior High School students - an experience filled with learning, connection, and shared moments.

This wouldn’t have happened without the hard work, time, and heart poured in by our teachers, students, and the entire fam. It was a busy one, but definitely worth it. ✨

Darts and Game of Generals (GOG) took center stage during the Athenaeum Games held yesterday, February 2, as teams battled it out in a mix of precision, strategy, and skill.

The winning teams were:
