The Fraternity was founded by 15 law students on September 27, 2005 becoming the first organization in USC Law admitting only male law students as members. “Militis Lex” is loosely translated in English as Knights of the Law and its Fraternal Motto “Fortes et Liber” means strong and free."

The Militis Lex Fraternity and Honor Society of the University of San Carlos – School of Law and Governance humbly reaches out to you in support of our upcoming mission, the Sponsorship of a Holy Mass and Relief Assistance for typhoon victims which will be celebrated on November 18, 2025 (Tuesday) at 6:00 a.m. at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Basak, Mandaue City.
We are seeking donations in cash or in kind—such as ready-to-eat food, bottled water, hygiene kits, clothing, and other essential goods. All proceeds will directly benefit our identified beneficiary, the Archdiocesan Shrine, whose parishioners and community members were among those most affected by Typhoon Tino. Your kind support and presence will go a long way in helping us fulfill this meaningful mission of faith and service.

Today, September 27, 2025, that path has reached a summit. Militis Lex Fraternity and Honor Society stands tall, celebrating 20 years of brotherhood, 20 years of living strong and free.
