Go Green for a Better Future 🌿💚

The Zonta Club of Cebu 1 Go Green Committee gathered for a productive meeting at Casino Español, bringing together our dedicated leaders and advocates for a greener, more sustainable future.

With PAD Tess Beltran Chan, President-elect Zeny Uy, IPP Mel GO, PP Gina Atienza, PP J Nellie Chiu, VP-E Eliz Tor Es, and Chair Rosemarie Cruz, the committee continues to work together in turning ideas into meaningful environmental action.

PR Planning, Creativity, and Sweet Treats!

The Zonta Club of Cebu 1 PR Committee gathered at the humble and welcoming home of PP Gina Garcia-Atienza for a productive and inspiring committee meeting!

With an exciting year ahead, the team mapped out creative PR activities and ideas that will help amplify the club’s projects, advocacies, and stories.

And of course, the sweet treats lovingly prepared by PP Gina Atienza gave us an extra boost and truly helped the creative juices flow!

Present at the meeting were President Stella Bernabe, PR Committee Chair Gina Atienza, Zn Pia Alturas, Project Director Carl, and Admin Secretary Adz Chiu.

Zonta Club of Cebu 1 at FLEET 2026!

The Zonta Club of Cebu 1 participated in the 3-day Future Leaders and Executives Empowerment Training (FLEET) held on August 14–16, 2026, under the Sama-Sama Project.

The training was implemented by the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI) in partnership with CONCERN Inc. Philippines, with support from Global Affairs Canada.

Representing Zonta Club of Cebu 1 were our Administrative Secretary Adah Chiu and Project Director Carl Dave Ang.

A meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen our leadership and organizational capacities as we continue our work for women and girls.

Productive & Fun Board Meeting

A productive and fun Board of Directors Meeting of the Zonta Club of Cebu 1! 💛

It was a meaningful time of great conversations, fresh ideas, shared laughter, and thoughtful discussions as we come together to plan and prepare for another year of service, advocacy, leadership, and impact.

From strengthening our ongoing programs to exploring new opportunities to empower women and girls, every discussion reflects our shared commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve.

Beyond the plans and agenda, meetings like these remind us of the power of sisterhood with a purpose. When passionate women come together, ideas become action and action creates lasting impact.

A LITTLE TREAT, A LOT OF HEART! 💛

Zonta Club of Cebu 1 continues to put compassion into action through the donation and distribution of boxes of flavored biscuits to our adopted school, Tangke Elementary School in Talisay City, Cebu.

This simple gesture brought smiles to our young learners and reminded us that even the smallest acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference.

Our heartfelt thanks to our Zontians in Action who made this activity possible:

PAD Tess Beltran Chan, VP and Education Committee Immediate Supervisor Elisa Torres Eliz Tor Es, BOD Zn Carmela Baguia, Zn Venus Cortes and our Secretary Adz Garbz.
