This makes building energy efficiency and conservation (EE&C) an important pathway to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that drive global warming. How do we tell if a building's energy performance is at par for its particular type? We can if we have building energy performance benchmarks; unfortunately, we do not have such a tool yet in the Philippines.
