The ballots have been cast, the voices have spoken, and the votes have been counted. After days of anticipation, campaigning, discourse, and deliberation, the Official Results of the Polikratos 2026 General Elections are finally here, ka-polsays!

As we prepare to elect the next set of student leaders, we encourage every BA Political Science student to participate and make their voices heard.

To ensure a smooth, orderly, and hassle-free voting process, please take note of the following reminders:

• All BA Political Science students are eligible to vote through the designated Google Form.
• The official ballot link will be disseminated by your respective Bloc Mayors, who will serve as members of the Committee on Elections (COMELEC).
• The ballot will only be accessible through your Cebu Normal University email account.
• The online ballot will be open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Election Day.
• Please make sure to provide all the necessary student information accurately.

We have been blessed to saw both parties showcasing their visions, platforms, and passion for serving the students. We already know the promises and what each party stands for.

For our candidates, you have already done your part. The campaigns will now come to a close. We encourage each and everyone of you to take off your dp blasts, and no more promotional posts starting today.

Because the decisions no longer belong to both parties, it is now at the hand of the students.

ANNOUNCEMENT | CNU suspends onsite classes today, shifts all classes to online modality tomorrow

Cebu Normal University (CNU) suspends all face-to-face classes at all levels today due to the hazardous air quality in Cebu City.

All students currently on campus are advised to proceed to the University Clinic to request face masks before going home.

Meanwhile, online classes scheduled for today will continue as planned and are not covered by the suspension.

For tomorrow, all face-to-face classes are likewise directed to shift to online modality. Students are advised to coordinate with their respective instructors regarding class schedules and online arrangements.

This directive is pursuant to Memorandum No. 025, Series of 2026, issued by the Office of the University President, following the public advisory of Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, citing “Hazardous Air Quality” as the reason for the suspension.

Please stay safe and take the necessary precautions.

𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀: 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻

As the anticipated General and Parliamentary Elections draw near, a virtual meeting presided by Hon. Jecho Albao, the COMELEC chief, together with Hon. Queenie Villarunin and Hon. Edrickson Donayre, the party chairmen of Sidlak and Kusog was held on August 18, 2026.

This serve as the crucial part of the event as both parties will be informed about the things needed for the election such as: requirements and qualifications needed for each position applied, how to file the candidacy, the do’s and don’ts diring the campaign period, the program flow, and the rules for prime ministerial debate to ensure a seamless election.

With the meeting adjourned, and the agenda’s served, both parties are now ready to ignite the flame once more, and soon, the victorious will keep the fire burning for the school year 2026-2027.
