Nearly a decade of friendship, and I will never, ever get tired of you. You are someone full of surprisesโa person who never fails to bring a smile to my face and make me laugh, even on my darkest days. That is just how truly special and irreplaceable you are to everyone around you. Lorence, I might not say this often enough, but thank you so much for staying by my side all these years. Even when Iโve made mistakes, youโve never left me for a single second, and your unwavering loyalty means the absolute world to me.
I still remember when we first met back in elementary school. I was introduced to this joyful, lovely, bright-eyed person who eventually became my best friend. I used to love how nerdy and smart you wereโand now look at us, fumbling through school together! You never stop bringing energy, hooting, and hollering wherever you go. Thatโs why you hold such a special place in everyone's heart; no one could ever forget your sense of humor or the way you can make an entire room collapse in laughter just by existing.
In Grade 7, I was so shocked to find out we were classmates again! But true to form, I never got tired of how corny and hilarious you are. You created so many inside jokes that still live rent-free in my head to this day. You brought all our precious elementary memories straight into high school, which showed me just how deeply you cherish our friendship.
By Grade 8, we were still classmates, making countless core memories that I hold so dearโmy John Laurens, Anthony Ramos, the Oryza class clown, and so many others I can't even begin to count. I would give anything to relive those times. Honestly, Oryza was never complete without you; you were the absolute heart and soul of our class. You created almost every inside joke we had. Youโre just naturally, effortlessly funnyโliterally everything that comes out of your mouth turns into gold!
Grade 9 came, and dawg, we were still classmates! Nine years of sharing a classroom, but I never took it for granted. You are just an absolute joy to be around, no cap. Krypton is such a core memory for me, and I miss those days every single day. You are the kind of person who brings sunshine into any room, lifting people up even when they're at their lowest. The positive impact you have on the people around you is truly incredible.
In Grade 10, we weren't classmates anymore, and honestly, it hurt. The classroom feels so dull without you in it! ugh, I miss the way youโd instantly brighten my day just by dropping a random joke. But even without sharing a room, we grew so much closer as LC together. We shared our deepest struggles, and you trusted me with things only I know. I am so deeply grateful that you trust me with your heart.
A full decade of friendship, and we are still going strong against all odds. You are such a fun, incredible person to hang out with. Even though we don't share a classroom anymore, I will carry every single memory we made together close to my heart forever. Thank you for being my constant, my comfort, and my best friend.
