The Cebu City Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National High School-Second Shift Department has conducted its first-ever General PTA Assembly for School Year 2024-2025, yesterday, August 5th, at the Don Albino D.Gothong Memorial Complex.
Parents and students from various grade levels actively engaged in essential discussions including the newly-implemented class schedules, key aspects of the Matatag Curriculum, school rules and regulations, and school clubs and organizations that night students may participate in.
In his short but comprehensive talk, Mr. Jamer Maestrado, the supervising head teacher for the Second Shift Department, commended the parents for attending meeting, marking their genuine support for learners. Mr. Maestrado emphasized the importance of working together for the general welfare of the students, and further encouraged them to do their best in their studies.
The short meeting came into a successful conclusion, following a well laid out program outlined by Mr. Christian Josue Pagusara and the rest of the faculty members. It was facilitated by Mr. Billy Calumba Jr., Math teacher and Scoutmaster of the Second Shift Department.
