Crusaders Against Violence and Sexual messages in the Airwaves

Crusaders Against Violence and Sexual messages in the Airwaves A group of Mass Communication students who aims to clean the airwaves from violence and s*xual messa The sad thing is that the public seems to enjoy them.

In our pursuit of studying the role of media in the society, we've realized the power of the media to influence people's decisions and opinions since it is an integral part of the society. We've observed that the airwaves are littered with songs, videos, and games that carry foul words and subliminal or direct messages expressing violence and s*x. If the public will continue to hear s*xual and vio

lent messages in the airwaves, there is a big chance that their judgment would be influenced by the messages that they hear, and see over the radio, television, cinemas, and games. This situation calls for a desperate action to clean the airwaves of music and videos that propagate and encourage the mass, especially teenagers to involve in s*x and violence.

Sharing is caring. Join us this Saturday!

This October 20, at 3pm, Palm Grass will be having our neighbors over, the kids from the Kamagayan Football Club, at Hardin Dagami for an program; as we share with them the story of the Cebu Katipunan.

The Kamagayan Football Club comprises of children aged six to thirteen who have looked into football as a diversion from petty crimes and poverty.

Palm Grass hopes that the story of the Cebu Katipunan and the revolution against the Spanish colonizers in 1898 would inspire the kids to always choose to do what’s right and give them pride for being Cebuanos.

Apart from the Leon Kilat , two kids from the Kamagayan Football Club will also tell their stories.

JOIN US! Anyone is free to attend and immerse with these inspiring children.
