Miss World 2021 will be held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan!

At a packed press conference today, it was announced that due to exceptional demand for tickets, the Miss World Final had been moved to Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot the largest indoor venue in the country!

Tickets for the 16th December final will go on sale from September 17th

The Coliseum, based in San Juan, is the biggest indoor arena in Puerto Rico dedicated to entertainment. Opened in 2004, ‘Choliseo’ as it is nicknamed, can accommodate up to 18,500 spectators. It has been voted as one of the top 10 arena venues in the world.

At the Press Conference Julia Morley Chairman and CEO of Miss World was joined by reigning Miss World – Toni-Ann Singh, Stephanie Del Valle - Miss World 2016 and Vanessa Ponce De Leon - Miss World 2018. Julia spoke of her deep pride in Puerto Rico being the host of the 70th Final. Julia thanked Puerto Rico’s two Miss World winners Wilnelia Merced Forsyth and Stephanie Del Valle for bringing the spirit of Puerto Rico in to her own life and promised that every nation attending the final would enjoy the experience of a lifetime in Puerto Rico, the Gateway to Latin America .

it was further announced that Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve is the Official Resort of the 70th Miss World Final and was preparing to host 123 nations for 28 days something that has never been undertaken by and Resort in Latin America! Stephanie Del Valle praised the appointment of 70th Miss World Host Resort. “We are so proud to have Hyatt Regency as our partner to welcome the world. Their incredible team is preparing to give the Miss World nations the perfect base to experience life in Puerto Rico our rich heritage and unique culture. Thank you to all the management and staff!!”

Francisso “Paco” Lopez will be the Stage producer for the final show and has promised “the most exciting and breath taking Miss World Final show in its 70 year history.

Miss World Peru 2021 crowned!

25-year-old Paula Montes was elected Miss World Peru 2021 at the glistening ceremony held at the Westin Hotel, Lima. Paula beat 16 candidates vying for the prestigious title on 28th August.

Michelle Peter, Miss World Lambayeque and Almendra Caceres, Miss World Piura were selected as the first and second runners up respectively.

Paula from Lima, works as a professional model and is pursuing a career as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

Paula’s Beauty with a Purpose project provides psychological support for cancer patients, specifically young people between 13 and 25 years old.

Paula said: “I feel that mental health is an issue that has been forgotten and we must give it importance.”

On her crowning as Miss World Peru 2021, Paula said: “To Peruvians I say that I will not disappoint you and I will give my all to represent our Peru as it deserves. It is an honour and a great responsibility to be Miss World Peru.”

Paula will represent Peru at the month-long festival and highly anticipated 70th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor.
