𝑺𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑵 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕, 𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓-𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚
Personnel from St. Mary’s Academy of San Nicolas, Inc. successfully carried out a meaningful series of spiritual, academic, and year-end outing on April 11, 2026, as part of their retreat and year-end program.
The day commenced with a visit to the Divine Mercy Shrine El Salvador Cagayan de Oro in anticipation of the Feast of the Divine Mercy celebrated on April 12, 2026. The visit allowed personnels to engage in prayer and reflection, strengthening their faith and unity as a community.
After the spiritual activity, the group proceeded to Lourdes College Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) Cagayan de Oro for a benchmarking session. The exchange of ideas and best practices contributed to the continuous improvement of educational services. The personnel then visited the Lourdes College Main Campus, where they were warmly welcomed by S. Maria Miraflor Bahan, RVM school president. Another significant engagement followed with St. Mary’s Academy of Carmen Cagayan de Oro, welcomed by S. Maria Asteria Emadin, RVM, Directress/Principal and Regional Superior of Northern Mindanao. Early dinner at the RVM Regional House, Northern Mindanao region provided an opportunity for fellowship and meaningful conversations among the participants.
At 5:30 p.m., personnels attended Holy Mass at St. Augustine Cathedral, further grounding the day’s activities in faith and reflection. They later returned to Betania for rest.
The retreat activities continued the next day with a year-end outing at Villa Arcadia Resort in Talisayan, Misamis Oriental, offering time for relaxation, bonding, and celebration of shared accomplishments.
The SMASN personnel extend their heartfelt gratitude to S. Maria Miraflor Bahan, RVM, and S. Maria Asteria Emadin, RVM, for their warm welcome, guidance, and support throughout the visit. Their dedication and hospitality greatly enriched the experience, making the activity both meaningful and memorable.
The entire event underscored the institution’s commitment to holistic development—nurturing spiritual growth, professional excellence, and a strong sense of community.
