ADVISORY FOR TES AND TDP-TES GRANTEES

In line with the UniFAST mandate to ensure the efficient, effective, and transparent implementation of its programs, and pursuant to the directive that financial assistance shall be disbursed through secure and accessible channels to guarantee the timely receipt of benefits, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has partnered with the Landbank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) to facilitate a safer and more reliable disbursement process.

With this arrangement, CHED financial assistance will now be credited directly to the accounts of student beneficiaries.

In this regard, all TES and TDP-TES grantees are required to open a LANDBANK account on or before May 22, 2026.

How to open a LANDBANK account:

You may choose any of the following options:

1.Through STAO Mobile App
Download and register via the STAO application.

2. Visit the nearest LANDBANK branch
Open an account personally at any LANDBANK branch near you.

3. Via LANDBANK DOBS (PISO Account)

Important Notes:

- If you already have an existing LANDBANK account, you may no longer need to open a new one, provided that it is an active regular account (not a payroll account).

- For those grantees who have a valid government-issued ID, they may open an account through the LANDBANK mobile app. There is no need for them to go to the bank since it is card less—they just need to download the app and process it there.

- For those grantees without a valid government-issued ID, they are required to visit a LANDBANK branch to open an account and present a barangay certificate along with their school ID.
