Horizontal & vertical pupil in the eyes.
The horizontal line on the eyes means that the animal is "prey", able to see the ground widely and find a place to escape or hide. It gives the goat better peripheral vision and that accompanied with the fact that their eyes are more to the side of the head and not the front allows them vision in an almost 360 degree arc; something good if you are a “prey” animal.
The vertical line in the eyes means that the animal is a "hunter" to precisely find the target. Animals with vertically elongated pupils were likely to be ambush predators, animals who lie in wait to kill their prey, who hunt during the day and night and, like most predators, have forward-facing eyes. Such animals include felines, some reptiles, and yes...domestic cats
This observation does not really apply to some animals but generally speaking, that is how it translates with nature.
