Today, April 2, 2023, is the start of Holy Week, and we joyfully and reverently observe Palm Sunday. On this day, people remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where he was greeted by throngs of people waving palm branches and shouting "𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂!"

Let's remember the lessons Jesus taught us about humility, peace, and love as we observe Palm Sunday today. May each of us experience spiritual growth and renewal during this Holy Week.

It's a time for in-depth thought, appreciation, and a rekindled sense of faith.

Gear up this coming April 2, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at GLE 306 CIT-University campus, as we are about to experience the first face-toface module of the Legions Management for almost three years, entitled 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄: 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆.

This module will mark the final stage of the module journey of the Legionnaires, and this will give them opportunity to discuss the things to consider when organising future activities they might spearhead, whether inside the Legions House or in their respective Department field as well as the committee's respective year-end projects.

On March 1-2, 2023, most students will be experiencing the 76th University Days physically for the first time as face-to-face classes are back.

CIT-University Day is an important annual celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗔. 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗿., who served as the First Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Cebu Institute of Technology University. He was a visionary leader who played a significant role in the development and growth of the university. His contributions are remembered and celebrated each year through this special event for CIT-University will not become what it is today without him.

These days are the time for the entire Technologian community to come together and celebrate their achievements and contributions to the world of higher education. It is a time to reflect on the university's history and traditions and to look forward to a bright future of continued academic excellence and innovation.

What a historical day to remember the very reason why we, Filipinos, experienced the historical event of claiming our freedom.

This day, February 25, 2023, marks the 37th anniversary of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, often known as the EDSA Revolution. From February 22 to 25, 1986, there were a series of public demonstrations in the Philippines, especially in Metro Manila. A prolonged campaign of civil resistance was waged against regime repression and election fraud.

Millions of Filipinos from all diverse backgrounds marched along EDSA to end the dictatorship of former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. and usher in a new age of true democracy and independence. Let us remember the day that gave us the liberty and freedom we enjoy today, especially when it comes to standing up for what is right and just for the suffering humanity!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. It comes from the ancient Jewish tradition of penance and fasting. The practice includes the wearing of ashes on the head. The ashes symbolize the dust from which God made us. It is a season of reflection which prepares us for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday, through which we attain redemption.

It is important to remember that Ash Wednesday is a day of penitential prayer. So let us, faithfuls, take the rest of the day off work and remain home.

The Legions Management: House Stark conducted its 5th module entitled, "𝐒𝐒𝐆 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬" at their MS Teams Channel on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 1:30 PM. Hanna Joy Pabiran and Via Mae Gomez hosted the event with at least 20 attendees. The speakers in Module 5 are none other than former House Arryn's headmaster: John Guiller Yazar, the current House Stark headmaster: Christie Amaryllis Neis, and assistant headmaster: Ellaine Mae Casilagan.

The session discussed everything there was to know about SSG commissions and committees, particularly the Commission on Internal Affairs, their roles, and how they operate as a whole, including the relationship of Legions Management to the student body. Thereafter, the Legionnaires were given a mini workshop about journal writing, which contains their experience as a legionnaire for the past semester and their thoughts on which commission or committee they want to be engaged with in their upcoming immersion.

Without the speakers, attendees, event hosts, and working committees, this event would not have been possible. We thank the people behind this successful module for educating us on how the SSG works.
