In times like these, when the world feels shaky both literally and emotionally, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. With the aftershocks, endless deadlines, and everyday challenges, many of us may feel anxious, exhausted, or uncertain, and that’s perfectly okay.

Take a deep breath, pause when you need to, and reach out for support from your friends, mentors, or loved ones. Prioritizing your mental health doesn’t make you weak. It means you’re strong enough to recognize when you need rest and care.

Pharmacy student volunteers took part in distributing relief goods to the families and neighbors of their fellow 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 in Northern Cebu who were affected by the recent earthquake. Their teamwork and compassion brought comfort and encouragement to those in need. 💜

We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity we have received.

🚨As of October 4 we have received a total amount of P24,156.47 from generous individuals. In the spirit of transparency, here's a breakdown of how your donations were used:

We purchased the following, allocated for the 14 pharmates prioritized in the donation drive:
🍚RICE: P3,080.00
🛒GROCERY: P7,882.88
💧WATER: P1,960.00
🚕TRANSPO: P131.00

The remaining P11,102.00 was allocated for canned goods, water and ready-to-eat foods for other affected families. We will provide all receipts to ensure transparency in every purchase made. We repacked the goods last Sunday and secured the goods for the 14 prioritized pharmates and had packed a total of 70 packs for other affected families and personally delivered the goods, this Monday, October 6.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who shared their blessings and trusted us with this initiative. Your kindness is bringing hope, comfort, and relief to families who need it most. Together, we are making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

This act of service reflects the true spirit of unity and care within the pharmacy community. With hearts ready to serve, they continue to stand with those rebuilding their lives and remind everyone that hope grows stronger when shared. 🙏💜
