One minute they were busy with activities and lessons, and the next thing you know, the gentlemen were adjusting their ties and the ladies were making grand entrances worthy of a red carpet.

Of course, no AET Fine Dining experience would be complete without the famous four-course meal. The ExTeens learned the art of proper dining, which fork goes where, and perhaps the greatest challenge of all: resisting the urge to devour the steak immediately. Thankfully, good manners survived, and so did the desserts.

But the evening had a way of slowing everyone down.

As the music played, fathers stepped onto the dance floor with flowers in hand, sharing a special moment with their daughters. Not long after, the gentlemen of Batch 2 escorted their mothers for the mother-son dance. There were smiles everywhere, proud parents and also the ExTeens trying to blink away suspicious amounts of "dust" in their eyes and possibly... From the coaches as well. Plenty of phones held up to capture moments that everyone knew were worth remembering.

And maybe that's what made the night so special.

Because at AET, we're not just preparing teens for one memorable night.

We're preparing them for the many important rooms they'll walk into for the rest of their lives.

And if Batch 2 is any indication, the future is looking pretty sharp.

Parents' Conference #2, with AET Museum!

During the end of the second week, the classroom transformed into the AET Museum, there the ExTeens took on a new role: teacher.

At their assigned learning stations, the ExTeens welcomed not only their own parents but also the parents of their fellow ExTeens, sharing lessons and insights they had picked up over the past days and week.

It was fun watching the roles reverse for a change.

Usually, parents are the ones doing the explaining. This time, the ExTeens stood proudly beside their learning stations, walking everyone through topics they had learned and experiences that had shaped them.

At AET, we believe that growth shouldn't stop with the teens. The journey works best when parents are growing alongside them. After all, lessons on trust, communication, responsibility, leadership, and relationships don't end when the workshop ends. They continue at home, around the dinner table, during car rides, and in those everyday conversations that families share.

Because raising extraordinary teens isn't a one-person job.

It takes parents who are willing to learn, teenagers who are willing to grow, and families who are willing to walk the journey together.

And seeing parents and ExTeens learning from one another under the same roof was a beautiful reminder that growth is always better when it's shared.

Who knew that a couple of index cards and some PVC pipes could teach so much about teamwork?

The ExTeens took on two challenges to develop their teamwork and communication skills and occasionally accompanied by "Wait, wait, don't let it fall!" moments.

First up: the Index Card Tower Challenge.

Armed with nothing but index cards, each team set out to build the tallest tower possible. Some went for height. Some went for stability. Some discovered that confidence alone does not, in fact, prevent towers from collapsing. But every time their towers came tumbling down, the teams simply laughed, regrouped, and tried again.

Then came the Tunnel Funnel challenge, where the entire batch had to work together to guide ping pong balls to the finish line using only their pipes. Sounds easy, right?

Well, the ping pong balls had other plans.

One tiny gap and the ball would make a break for freedom, sending everyone scrambling and laughing at the same time. It quickly became clear that this wasn't a challenge anyone could accomplish alone. Everyone had to communicate, adjust, and trust one another to make it work.

Somewhere between the falling towers and the runaway ping pong balls, the ExTeens were learning what it means to be an ideal team player.

Someone who is humble enough to listen and learn, hungry enough to keep improving, and people-smart enough to work well with others.

Because being a great teammate isn't about always being the loudest or having all the answers.

Paper straws. Tape. Ideas. And teamwork!

The tower building challenge brought all tribes together with one mission: create the ultimate tower. Sounds simple enough... Until you realize it has to be tall, strong, visually appealing, and convincing enough to win over the judges during the presentation.

Each tribe proudly presented their chants before introducing their creation. No two towers looked alike. One stretched high into the air with a design reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. Another stood powerfully like the Avengers Tower. One tribe built a lighthouse complete with a tiny Iron Man lego watching over everyone from the top, while another created a structure and showcasing their creativity by creating their tower just from the original materials given to them.

But looking impressive was only half the battle.

Since the towers were mainly built from paper straws, the real challenge was making them strong enough to survive what came next: the Earthquake Test and the Typhoon Test. This time, height wasn't everything. Stability mattered. Teamwork mattered. Planning mattered.

Why? Because life rarely tests us when conditions are perfect. Challenges, setbacks, pressure, and unexpected things have a way of showing up suddenly. Just like the towers, our strongest foundation are built through preparation, adaptability, and working together when things get difficult.

And just like that, Batch 2 of AET Season 2026 is officially underway!

What started with bright smiles, curious faces, and a little first-day nervousness quickly turned into laughter, conversations, and the beginning of new friendships. Over the next three weeks, these ExTeens will be challenged to grow into the best versions of themselves by developing the right mindset, heart-set, and skill-set.

Day 1 was all about breaking the ice and getting comfortable with one another. The ExTeens met students from different schools, age groups, and backgrounds, and it didn't take long before introductions turned into conversations and conversations turned into new friend groups. Not bad for the very first day.

One thing they discovered early on was the importance of psychological safety, a value that AET strives to create and protect. It's the kind of environment where everyone is treated with respect, where people can share their thoughts without fear of judgment, and where being vulnerable isn't seen as a weakness. It's knowing that the people around you are willing to listen, support, and cheer you on as you grow.

Of course, this is only the beginning.

The next few weeks will be packed with fun, interactive activities, exciting challenges, and plenty of opportunities to step outside their comfort zones. There will be moments that test their creativity, teamwork, and resilience, including the much-anticipated Tower Making activity. Let's just say we're already excited to see what they come up with.

Three weeks. Countless memories. New friendships. And a journey toward becoming extraordinary.

We're just getting started.

One of the most frequent questions we get from parents is how our program can help a shy or introverted teen. Coach Adrian answers that perfectly right here.

First, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert. Introverts simply process energy differently than extroverts do. But the reality is that social skills are the ultimate golden ticket to future success for anyone. Every teen needs to know how to confidently open up, interact, and sustain a meaningful conversation.

A Night to Remember

For the Ex-teens, the night wasn't simply about looking elegant for a few hours. They embodied their learnings on how to handle themselves with confidence, grace, respect, and authenticity long after the lights have dimmed and the music ended. AET believes that these qualities should not stay in the ballroom for one evening, they should become a part of who they are for life. Because when they know how to handle themselves with poise, communicate respectfully, and walk into unfamiliar situations with confidence, they carry that into classrooms, interviews, leadership roles, relationships, the real world itself.

During the fine dining simulation, the ex-teens experienced a full four-course meal while learning proper etiquette and table manners. From discovering which utensils belonged to which course to practicing how to eat with poise instead of attacking the steak as if it's their last meal, every moment became part of the experience. And speaking of the steak... It's safe to say it earned five stars from the tables.

Then came the part that made the entire evening feel even more special. Fathers handed flowers to their daughters before sharing a graceful waltz together during the father-daughter dance, while the gentlemen ex-teens invited their mothers onto the dance floor with confidence and respect during the mother-son dance. There were smiles, laughter, a few teary eyes, and memories that families will probably talk about for years.

This is the heart of AET. It goes beyond lectures and activities. It creates moments that shape character, confidence, leadership, honor, and a heart for others. Moments that stay long after summer ends.

Week one of AET Batch 1 is officially in the books and what an incredible start it has been.

​Looking back at this footage from our first few days, the energy really speaks for itself. From highly productive group activities to non stop laughter in the room, these teens are already building real friendships and stepping into their confidence. It is amazing to see how much growth and connection can happen in just one week when you provide the right environment for them to thrive.
