Earlier today, the Organization conducted its 3rd Special Meeting. In line with the upcoming Science Month this September, various plans and updates were discussed in preparation for the celebration.

The meeting also discussed the following agenda:

• Science Month Plans and Updates
- Theme
- Presentation of Mechanisms for each Activity
- Venue
- Date and Time
- Designations
- Liability Waiver and Parental Consent for all constituents
- Food for Acquaintance
• Status on Documentary Requirements for the Reaccreditation of University Organizations
• Science Bond Merch Second Batch Pre-Orders
• Other Matters

As the Organization continues its preparations for the upcoming Science Month, rest assured that the Organization and its committee remain committed to ensuring that every activity is properly planned and organized. Science Bond (SciBond) took part in the Film Screening and Talkback Session held on August 14, 2026, at the Arts and Sciences Hall, University of the Philippines Cebu (UP Cebu).

The activity was organized by the Cebu City Local Youth Development Council (CCLYDC), through its Committee on Health and Active Citizenship, in partnership with the Cebu City Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, as part of a broader solidarity campaign supporting the Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Environment Bill.

The event aimed to raise awareness among the youth on the health risks of smoking and va**ng, while encouraging active citizenship and support for policies protecting public health.

Through initiatives like this, Science Bond reaffirms its commitment to advocacy work that empowers students to engage in issues affecting their community's health and well-being.🤍💚💙

During the GBE on August 4, the SciBond Organization warmly welcomed every freshie ATOMS to our booth. To warmly welcome them, we prepared merchandise for them to feel that they are part of the 𝓢𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓑𝓸𝓷𝓭 𝓕𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝔂! 🤗

But the merchandise wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our external partners. Just like every Smiski eventually finds where it belongs, every Ka-Atom has a unique story of how they found their way to BSED Science.

Behind every BSED Science student is a different reason that brought them to this program. For some, it was a lifelong dream of becoming a science teacher. For others, it was their passion for science, the influence of someone they admired, or simply a path that unexpectedly led them here.

𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐐𝐔𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐌

After the long preparations for the Grand Balik Eskwela (GBE), the Science Bond Organization successfully conducted its 3rd General Meeting, focusing on the Post-GBE Evaluation and the much-awaited preparations for Science Month 2026.

As part of the meeting, an open forum was held where officers shared their insights on the event, highlighting its strengths, lapses, and areas that can still be improved for future activities.

The following agenda items were also discussed:

• Grand Balik Eskwela (GBE) Post-Activity Evaluation
• Updates on the Documentary Requirements for the Reaccreditation of University Organizations
• Science Month 2026: Planning and Preparations
• Resolution Writing Training for the Legislative Branch
• Membership Fee
