Will we be the country who designs, innovates and builds? Or will we be ππππ πππππ the country that provides the land, the labors, and the resources?
Pax Silica is a United States-led international initiative focused on securing supply chains for advanced technologies such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI) and rare earth elements. It aims to reduce reliance on China's tech infrastructure by building resilient manufacturing networks among allied nations. This may look promising on paper, a better future for the Philippines, more jobs, more investments, and secured connections with powerful countries. However we shouldn't expect that this will all go according to plan, what if we will be the ones suffering while they celebrate their desired results? Who knows what they'll do to us when we run out of resources? Will they leave us after they're satisfied? Are they only using us?
People of the Nation keep on protesting about corrupted politicians, but those who complain were the very same people who voted for them. Blinded by money, consumed by greed, and fighting for a title they don't even deserve. The Philippines has so much potential at excelling as a great country, all goes down the drain by the same exact politicians we voted to lead our fellow Filipinos for the future.
We have the voices to stand for our country, we have the knowledge to know what is right or wrong, we have our rights in making our decisions. So why do we keep falling into the same hole again?
Let us be awoken and finally make our country a better place to live, with better politicians, a safe environment, friendly society, and diversity where it's cultured and nurtured.
