📢 ADVISORY | SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN CEBU CITY

In the interest of public safety and upon the recommendation of the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CCDRRMC), ALL face-to-face classes in Cebu City are TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED due to the possible adverse effects of Tropical Depression Basyang, as reported by PAGASA.
🗓 Effective: February 6, 2026
🏫 Coverage: ALL LEVELS – early childhood, elementary, secondary, tertiary, technical-vocational, and graduate levels
📍 Applies to: Public and private schools within Cebu City
📚 Schools are directed to shift to Modular Learning Systems or other alternative learning modalities, in accordance with DepEd, CHED, and TESDA guidelines.
This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our students, teachers, and school personnel, especially in light of possible heavy rainfall and flooding.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely. Further updates will be announced through official channels.
