𝗔𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗨𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗢𝗗 𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔? 🇵🇭🗣️

Ang 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 ay hindi lamang simpleng pagdiriwang tuwing Agosto. Nagsimula ito bilang 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 at kalaunan ay naging isang buong buwang pagdiriwang ng wika, kultura, kasaysayan, at pagka-Pilipino.

𝐒𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭?

Nag-ugat ang pagpapaunlad ng wikang pambansa sa mga hakbang ni 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗟. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 para sa pagtatatag at pagpapaunlad ng isang wikang pambansa. Sa pamamagitan ng Surian ng Wikang Pambansa, isinagawa ang pag-aaral sa mga wika sa Pilipinas upang makatulong sa pagpili ng magiging batayan ng wikang pambansa. Dahil sa kanyang malaking ambag, kinilala si Quezon bilang “𝗔𝗺𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮.”

Malaki rin ang naging papel ni 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗟. 𝗱𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝘆𝗿𝗮, ang unang direktor ng Surian ng Wikang Pambansa, na nanguna sa mga pag-aaral tungkol sa iba’t ibang wika sa Pilipinas. Samantala, si 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗞. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀, isang kilalang manunulat at dalubwika, ay nag-ambag sa pagpapaunlad ng wikang pambansa sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga akda tungkol sa balarila at wastong paggamit ng wika.

Si 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗢𝘀𝗺𝗲ñ𝗮 naman ay naging mahalagang bahagi ng pamahalaang Commonwealth at sumuporta sa mga hakbang na naglalayong paunlarin at palaganapin ang wikang pambansa sa bansa.

𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨?

Noong 1955, itinakda ang Agosto 13–19 bilang Linggo ng Wika sa ilalim ng pamahalaan ni 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆. Kalaunan, sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Blg. 1041, s. 1997, idineklara ang buong buwan ng Agosto bilang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa.

𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 “𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨” 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚?

Noong 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟕, sa pagbalangkas ng 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟕 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀, opisyal na kinilala ang Filipino bilang pambansang wika ng bansa.

𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠?

Hindi! Ang Buwan ng Wika ay pagdiriwang din ng maraming katutubong wika na ginagamit sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Pilipinas. Bawat wika ay may sariling kasaysayan, kultura, at tradisyon na mahalagang mapangalagaan.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagpapahalaga sa mga wikang ito, naipapakita natin ang pagkakaiba-iba at yaman ng kulturang Pilipino. Ipinapaalala rin nito na ang bawat wikang ginagamit ng ating mga kababayan ay bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan at pagkakaisa bilang isang bansa.

The Intramurals 2026 Awarding Ceremony took place on August 10, 2026, at the Awihao National High School Covered Court. After class, students and teachers gathered to celebrate the conclusion of this year’s games and witness the much-awaited awarding of the teams who gave their all throughout the competition.

After two days filled with teamwork, determination, perseverance, and countless efforts, the final results were finally revealed. Each of the six competing teams showed their own strength, spirit, and sportsmanship, making this year’s Intramurals a memorable celebration of camaraderie and healthy competition.

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 2026: 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

The games are officially underway as our athletes step onto the court with energy, and determination. Each team gave their best in every play, show their skills, passion, and dedication while representing their respective teams. From exciting moments on the court to the cheers and support from their teammates. Every part of the game made this year’s Intramurals unforgettable.

Every whistle, timeout, error, point, and effort became part of a memorable experience for our Awinians athletes. Don't forget to stay grounded and humble in victory, learn from defeat, and always show good sportsmanship. Ang tinuod nga daog, dili kay ang team nga naay pinakadako ug score, kundi ang team ang naay panaghiusa. If pildi man ka karon, ayawg kabalaka kay daghan pa kaayog higayon para mo bawi bitbit ang mga leksyon sa imong kagahapon.

Remember, winners are those people who refuse to give up. Naa pay sunod!

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 2026 ✨

On the 8th day of August 2026, Awihao National High School officially opened its Intramurals, marking the beginning of this year’s exciting sports celebration. Students, athletes, coaches, and teachers gathered together to celebrate the opening and prepare for the games ahead.

One of the highlights of the opening was the raising of the school banner, led by our school head, Mrs. Teresita Barcelona. According to her, a true athlete should be disciplined, know how to follow rules and instructions, and always show respect both on and off the court.

The opening also included the Athlete’s Creed, where both players and coaches took their oath and promised to uphold discipline, fairness, and sportsmanship throughout the games. Another meaningful part of the ceremony was the lighting of the torch, led by the 2025 CVRAA players, which symbolizes the passing of the true meaning of sportsmanship from one generation of athletes to the next one.

Another inspiring message came from Mr. Elwen Catapusan, who encouraged everyone to stay humble when they win and congratulate their opponents because they are not enemies, but friends who also embrace their interest and passion for the sport.

May this Intramurals be filled with teamwork, friendship, and good sportsmanship. 💚🏆
