Surrounded by a breathtaking overlooking view and the peaceful ambiance of Busay, the venue created a refreshing space for everyone to take a break from their usual responsibilities, connect with one another, and strengthen teamwork, friendship, and camaraderie.💚💚💚

Please be informed that all University of the Visayas offices will be closed on Friday, August 28, 2026, in celebration of Employee Appreciation Day.

This break recognizes the dedication of our employees
in fulfilling their transactional and building responsibilities.

There will also be no classes on this day.

In preparation for the Academic Year 2026–2027, the University of the Visayas – College of Education conducts its Retooling Sessions as part of its continuing commitment to faculty development and academic excellence.

These series of learning engagements focuses on enhancing instructional practices through AI-powered instructional design and course syllabi development, equipping faculty members with updated knowledge, innovative teaching strategies, and outcomes-based approaches that will further enrich the learning experiences of future educators.
