𝐒𝐇𝐉𝐏 𝐃𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

MATI CITY – A generous ₱50,000 donation from Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (SHJP) – Don Bosco Mati has brought continued extra support to the school community.

Many water dispensers and gallons were destroyed during the typhoon leaving students and teachers with limited access to drinking water. Recognizing this urgent need, the faculty and school head agreed to prioritize water supplies. Through the donation, the school was able to purchase 19 water dispensers for classrooms and the utility office, 4 hot and cold dispensers for the faculty room, library, computer laboratory, and clinic, along with 67 water gallons. Foam mattresses, pillows, and beddings were also provided for school use.

Beyond addressing basic needs, the remaining funds will support the school’s ARAL Reading Program which helps 70 identified learners improve their reading skills assisted by 6 volunteer tutors. The program runs thrice a week for eight weeks.

The Faculty shared their heartfelt gratitude saying the support from SHJP Don Bosco Mati has not only helped restore essential resources but also strengthened programs that nurture students’ learning and well-being.
