| CHRISTMAS BREAK

We would like to inform the CIT community that 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, will be the last day of operations before the holiday break, and this day will be observed as a work-from-home (WFH) day.

In line with the University’s scheduled operations, please be guided by the following work-related arrangements:

𝟭. 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁
To ensure continuity of essential services, the following offices will provide online support on December 26–27, 2025 and January 2–3, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

▪️Finance & Accounting Office (FAO)
▪️Office of Admissions and Scholarships (OAS)
▪️University Registrar’s Office (URO)
▪️Marketing Office (MO)
▪️Student Success Office (SSO)

𝟮. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
All offices will resume regular onsite transactions starting January 5, 2026.

𝓦𝓲𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪 𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓯𝓾𝓵, 𝓼𝓪𝓯𝓮, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓳𝓸𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓼 𝓱𝓸𝓵𝓲𝓭𝓪𝔂 𝓼𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷!

ANNOUNCEMENT
As of November 24, 2025

In view of the latest advisory from the Cebu City Government regarding Tropical Depression Verdena and the continued weather risks, all face-to-face classes and RLE at CIT University will remain in asynchronous mode on November 25, 2025.

Offices will also be closed.

ANNOUNCEMENT
As of November 23, 2025 | 9:00 PM

In line with the Code Blue declaration issued by the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO), all face-to-face classes and RLE at CIT University will shift to asynchronous mode until further notice.

Offices will remain open for transactions with a skeletal workforce.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 106 issued by the Office of the President, CIT University shall likewise suspend classes at all levels on November 10–11, 2025 due to the effects of Super Typhoon Uwan.

All other provisions in the November 7, 2025 advisory remain in effect, except for the aforementioned suspension of classes.

CLASS AND OFFICE ADVISORY
(As of November 2, 2025 | 7:00 PM)

Following the announcement of Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival Jr. and the declaration placing Cebu City under Red Alert Status due to the imminent threat of Typhoon “Tino,” the following adjustments are in effect at Cebu Institute of Technology – University to ensure the safety and preparedness of our community:

1. Classes in all levels, including OJT and RLE, are suspended from November 3 to 5, 2025.

2. Teachers are advised to exercise leniency and consideration for any requirements or deadlines that fall within this period.

3. Prefinal Examinations are rescheduled to November 10, 11, and 12, 2025.

4. All offices will be closed for transactions on November 3 and 4 and will shift to a work-from-home arrangement until further notice.

We enjoin all Teknoy students, faculty, and staff to stay indoors, prioritize safety, and remain updated through official advisories from the Cebu City Government and CIT University’s official channels.
