𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | On May 16, 2026, 2nd- and 3rd-year Biology students had the opportunity to attend the GCM Open House 2026 at Gullas College of Medicine, together with Mr. Rommeljun Solijon Datiles and Ms. Ariane Satore

The visit allowed the students to explore the campus, experience its learning environment, and witness the institution’s impressive facilities and equipment firsthand. Interactive games and exciting raffles also added fun and energy to the event for the lucky winners.

Indeed, it was an inspiring and meaningful experience for aspiring future medical professionals.

𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐘

May 5, 2026, was filled with a fun and joyous trip as the First Year Biology students went on a field study at Crocolandia Conservation Park in Talisay City, Cebu. The students were able to apply what they had learned as they enjoyed their trip together with the guidance of Ma'am Celeste Maghuyop and Miss Keith Valerie Cadar.

Various species of animals were seen during the trip, which made the trip fun and gave the students a new learning experience. A big appreciation to Crocolandia Conservation Park for making this fieldwork possible and knowledgeable.

𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤

May 04, 2026, students enrolled in Human Anatomy and Physiology were given a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of the human body through an insightful learning experience, guided by Mr. Rommeljun Datiles at Gullas College of Medicine. The students thank the institution for allowing them to observe a prepared cadaver, which gave them a meaningful, respectful way to explore human anatomy and address their academic curiosity.

In addition, the students were given access to the Anatomage Tablet. This advanced, life-sized 3D anatomy visualization system greatly enhances medical learning through interactive and detailed digital representations of the human body. Although not all organs were discussed due to an unexpected earthquake, the session remained highly informative and enriching.

Despite the unforeseen interruption, the safety of everyone present was ensured, and no students were harmed. Furthermore, the cadaver was handled with the utmost respect and professionalism throughout the activity. Overall, the experience was both educational and memorable, contributing significantly to the students’ academic growth.
