The University of the Visayas – Dalaguete Campus continues to uphold its legacy of academic excellence as it delivers outstanding performance in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

In the latest LEPT results, UV Dalaguete achieved impressive passing rates:

📍 Bachelor of Elementary Education
Passing Rate: 91.40%
National Passing Rate: 56.03%

📍 Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics
Passing Rate: 100%
National Passing Rate: 73.10%

This achievement reflects the dedication of the university’s faculty, the strength of its academic programs, and the perseverance of its graduates.

𝐔𝐕–𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐭𝐞’𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬

Alejandro Jr. C. Dichon, a fourth-year student from UV-Dalaguete, claimed the title of Champion in the Falculan Twins Review Center Regional Battle of the Brains Season 3 held on April 11, 2026, at the CAP Development Center in Cebu City.

UC Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue placed first runner-up, while CTU-Danao took second runner-up in the competition, which brought together 20 schools across Cebu, each represented by three education students.

Dichon competed alongside fellow UV-Dalaguete delegates Justine Carl C. Mandawe and Mary Rose Maloloy-on, with guidance from their coach, Mr. Jayvie Bryle C. Camilo. Their performance reflects the strong academic capability and commitment to excellence of UV-Dalaguete students.

𝐂𝐎𝐄𝐃 & 𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

COED & SHS capped off a strong performance as it emerged overall champion of Intramurals 2026, held from March 25 to 27 at the University of the Visayas–Dalaguete Campus. Anchored on the theme “Transformation Through Innovation and Excellence,” the team demonstrated teamwork, determination, and excellence throughout the three-day competition.

The success of COED & SHS was made possible through the leadership and support of College of Education Dean Dr. Priscila Mansueto, Mrs. Angelica Redula, Program Coordinator and COED Officers Adviser; Mr. Juan Modalo, SHS Principal; and the unwavering commitment of the COED & SHS faculty and staff.

Contributing significantly to the victory were the COED Officers, who provided continuous coordination and support to the players, along with the active participation of the COED & SHS athletes and the strong encouragement of COED and SHS students.

Their combined efforts led the unit to secure the overall championship of Intramurals 2026, delivering consistent victories and high placements across various events.

The achievement was celebrated as a testament to unity, hard work, and the shared pride of the COED & SHS community.

The cozy room was packed with delicious food stalls, comfy tables, karaoke fun, and vibrant lights, everything we needed for good vibes and unforgettable moments with friends.

Everyone had a blast singing their hearts out, sharing meals, and just chilling with their barkada. Truly, this was a place where laughter, friendship, and memories came alive!

COED–SHS emerged as the champion in the Yell Competition during the Intramurals 2026 held on March 25 at the University of the Visayas–Dalaguete Campus grounds. The team impressed the audience with their energy, teamwork, and creative formations.

The winning squad, composed of first-year COED students, included Nicollette Tanilon, Mikaela Irene Amacna, Eulla Tizon, Josh Heinrich Enolba, Kurt Renz Harley Cuerpo, Justine Ubas, Irish Condevillamar, Cinderilla Kate Baldevino, Riza Mae Silvano, Nikka Kristine Labanon, Nicole Valerie Labanon, Queency Pioquinto, Khaizel Joy Alsola Allanic, Micah Filosopo, Mary Jane Dasian, Lyca Isabel Ortega, Desiree Jainar, Jessamie Aliñabon, Glyzenth Grace Silvano, and Ariane Mitz Montalbo.

Their performance featured synchronized chants and innovative formations, demonstrating both creativity and coordination. The audience responded with loud applause as the team executed their routines, securing their top spot.

The victory highlights COED–SHS’s dedication to teamwork and excellence, adding another milestone to the school’s competitive history.

The COED–SHS table tennis team made a strong impression at the University of the Visayas Intramurals 2026, held from March 25 to 27, showcasing skill, teamwork, and determination.

In the women’s division, Shayne Nicole Cortes finished 2nd Place in Singles A, while Irene Paz captured 1st Place in Singles B. Together, Cortes and Paz dominated the Doubles event, securing 1st Place with outstanding coordination and competitive spirit.

For the men’s division, Alfredo Amacanin claimed the Championship in Singles A, and Edichar John Mendez took 1st Place in Singles B. In Doubles, Krestian Cana and Archiel Moncida earned 2nd Place, reflecting strong teamwork and resilience.

The performance of COED–SHS athletes highlights their dedication and excellence, bringing pride to the school and exemplifying the Visayanian spirit.

The COED-SHS Team secured 1st Place in Mobile Legends, dominating the competition with excellent coordination, quick decision-making, and strong communication. Their gameplay showed not only skill but also unity and perseverance.

This achievement reflects the growing excellence of esports in the university and highlights the talent and dedication of our student players. Truly, they have shown what it means to work together and succeed as one team.
