Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Venue: UV GYMNASIUM

Open to all UV Student Dancers. Bring your street dance style. Bring your vibe.

Audition Format

Round 1 – Own Piece
-Dancers will perform their own choreography
-Own music (any hip-hop or street style)
-Time limit: 1-2 minutes

Round 2 – Follow the Choreo
-Qualified dancers will be taught a provided choreography
-They must learn and perform it on the spot.
-Be part of The Visayanian Dance Crew.

Empowering educators through sport! 🏓💡

On June 9, Physical Educator Instructors gathered at the UV Gymnasium for an exciting Pickleball Development Training session. A day filled with skills-building, strategy-sharing, and collaboration to better equip our instructors in promoting this fast-growing sport.

The Physical Education Faculty of the University of the Visayas participated in the 5th International Seminar-Workshop organized by the Physical Education Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PEAP), with a theme: “Exemplary Content of Physical Education Across All Learners in the 21st Century: Empowerment through Dance, Movement, Sports, and Research”. The event is currently happening at Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

FIT 111 students at the University of the Visayas gym are pushing their limits and building strength, one rep at a time!

Harnessing the basics of swimming to bring out the life-saving skills that are pertinent in the chosen field. The UV Maritime students were engaged in the first phase of learning the basic skills, wherein they executed the floating techniques. The concepts they have learned were put into practice and were assessed accordingly. This type of practical assessment is vital to help them prepare for the real battle as seafarers.
