Sa ika-31 ng Agosto, ating ginugunita ang National Heroes Dayโ€”isang araw upang bigyang-pugay ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang tapang, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal para sa ating bayan.

Ang kanilang mga kuwento at kabayanihan ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino. Ipinapaalala nila sa atin na ang pagiging bayani ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa malalaking sakripisyo, kundi pati na rin sa mga simpleng paraan ng paglilingkod, pagtulong, at pagmamalasakit sa kapwa at sa bayan.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž | Grade 12 HUMSS Students Become the Audience to "HAHA HEIGHTS" Musical Play.

On August 29, 2026, the Grade 12 HUMSS students stepped into the Siddhartha Theater at Guang Ming College to witness an inspiring live performance of "HAHA HEIGHTS" an original advocacy muscial directed by Derek Bryan Salazar.

The play highlighted the heavy toll of rapid development, environmental decay, and climate change, reaching the hearts of our HUMSSsters through its powerful storytelling and moving performances by the talented local youth actors under the Siddhartha Community Extension Program, partnered with SK Barangay Guadalupe's Project GUAPA.

From exciting games to endless laughter turned into precious memories that will be remembered in years. The people of St. James the Apostle, St. John Stone, and St. Magdalene of Nagasaki displayed that celebrating our shared culture is greater when shared with friends in each of their respective classrooms.

On August 27, Thursdayโ€”ASSH students rejoice in the festivities of Buwan ng Wika 2026 within their respective classrooms. Playing classic Filipino games, bonding through songs, and enjoying the specialities of Pinoy cuisine together, building stronger connections and harmony.
Each section showcased wonderful friendship, going out and sharing their cheers and enjoyment with one another.

Beyond the lively games and shared meals, the event served as a reminder to our identities as Filipinos. In an age that is slowly transforming even more digitally through technology, the spirit set by the classrooms of Bl. Stephen Bellesini, Bl. Josephine & Bl. John of Reiti still highlights that the best way to share our cultural heritage is through human connection and shared values. Today, August 28, 2026, we honor the life of St. Augustine of Hippo. His life reminds us of the restlessness of the human heart and of the rest that can only be found in God.

Born in Thagaste in 354 AD to a Catholic mother, St. Monica, and a pagan father Patricius, St. Augustine lived a life of sin in his younger years and chased worldly pleasures. Later, when he went to Milan, he encountered God through the preaching of St. Ambrose. He then converted to Catholicism and eventually became a bishop, where he worked to teach the faith, fight false teachings, care for the poor, and guide ordinary Christians and Church leaders.

May his life of conversion, wisdom, and constant pursuit of God inspire us to seek the truth and live a life of faith every day.

The Rover Scout Department invites AHLSA representatives and other organizations along with clubs to showcase their COPs via the Bayanihan expo on August 20, 2026. Conducted at the Recoletos Coliseum, the event gave the opportunity to display meaningful objectives, proper discussion of the programs, and promote their club and organization to the Grade 11 Students.
