Somewhere beneath the silence, I still believe there could be an us again.
Where I stayed for us, hoping for another beginning.
I loved you in ways I never learned how to explain.
I keep longing for a love I once thought would be our ending.

Your voice echoes softly through my veins,
Knowing I was the last to hear your voice.
A quiet reminder of what still remains,
While someone else will hear it and call it home.

Was there ever a happy ending,
Or was I the only one pretending?
Was I the only one who stayed,
While your heart had slowly drifted away?
I kept holding on to what we knew,
Still chasing dreams that never came true.
And in the silence, I came to see,
That the one still waiting was only me.

I guess a farewell was the only option,
For a love that seemed to live forever.
Though my heart still searched for a reason,
To believe we could find our way together.

You left, but somehow, the love stayed.

Our Fragile Maybe.

I reminisce the day I first saw your face,
Love at first sight in that crowded place.
My heart ran fast, my words got shy,
I thought the stars had fallen from the sky.

I watched you laugh, I watched you glow,
And prayed that someday youโ€™d come to know.
But fate had other plans in store,
I wasnโ€™t first โ€” I was second door.

Friend zoned, with a smile so kind,
"You're like family," you said, so blind.
I clapped for you, I cheered you on,
While quietly wishing I was the one.

Still I stayed, through all the pain,
Hoping maybe, just maybe again.
Now I look back, not bitter, not torn,
Because even second choice meant I loved and Iโ€™ve grown.

So hereโ€™s to the memories, bittersweet and true,
To loving someone who never loved me too.
I reminisce, and let my heart be free โ€”
I loved you well, even if you werenโ€™t for me.

Have you ever wondered why Nutrition Month is celebrated in July? It is by virtue of ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿต๐Ÿญ, signed in 1974 by Ferdinand Marcos, aimed at raising public awareness on the importance of proper nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Many Filipinos tend to consume more meat, often with only a small portion of vegetables on their plates. While meat is an important source of nutrients, excessive consumption over time may lead to health concerns such as heart disease, kidney problems, and other related risks.

On the other hand, a lack of vegetables in oneโ€™s diet can also have long-term effects on overall health. To prevent this, make it a habit to include more greens in your meals. If youโ€™re not used to eating vegetables, start smallโ€”try incorporating them into soups, broths, or mixed dishes.

Let this July be a time to educate ourselves on maintaining a balanced diet and a healthier lifestyle.

As ๐—ช๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—–๐—ต๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—น๐—น once said, โ€œ๐‘ฏ๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’•๐’‰๐’š ๐’„๐’Š๐’•๐’Š๐’›๐’†๐’๐’” ๐’‚๐’“๐’† ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’ˆ๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’•๐’†๐’”๐’• ๐’‚๐’”๐’”๐’†๐’• ๐’‚๐’๐’š ๐’„๐’๐’–๐’๐’•๐’“๐’š ๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐’‰๐’‚๐’—๐’†.โ€ Let us take this reminder to heart by making better food choices each day. Eating greens is not just a habitโ€”it is a necessity for a stronger and healthier future.

Let us strive to stay healthy and balancedโ€”because eating greens is what we need!

โ€ŽTrembling hands, excitement rushing through my veins.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWas this finally my chance?
โ€ŽThe moment my heart had ached for?
โ€Ž
โ€ŽYour love, your gaze, your touch...
โ€ŽAnd your heart.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWould they finally be mine?
โ€Ž
โ€ŽMy foolish heart thought so.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWaiting, giving up, waiting again,

โ€ŽLike a roller coaster that refuses to stop.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽEvery breath I held felt like a golden coinโ€”
โ€Žspent on hope.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽYour heartbreak with her became my happiness.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽAm I selfish for that?
โ€ŽOr was it simply my way of easing

โ€Ž
โ€ŽSwallowing my feelings

โ€Ž
โ€ŽGosh...
โ€Ž
โ€ŽHow do I keep hurting myself?
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStill hoping
โ€Žfor the crumbs of your love.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽLike a dog begging for bones,
โ€Ž
โ€ŽI'm just someone lingering
โ€Žin the alleyway of your heart.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThis is too much.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhen?
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhen will I finally learn
