THE LICENSURE EXAM FOR TEACHERS
Implemented by law as per RA 7836 otherwise known as Philippines Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994, the Licensure Exam for Teachers or LET is one of the reforms of the Philippine government for enhancing teacher professionalism. It aims to determine whether prospective teachers have acquired professional competencies prior to granting them a permit to teach. Since its implementations in 1996, the number of LET passers remains low at an average of approximately 10% to 35% each year. It is the most taken board exam and yet unfortunately it has the highest attrition rate. In 2019 alone (March and September results combined), only 48,632 out of 164,494 or 29.56% passed the LET for elementary while 76,450 out of 222,346 or 34.38% made it to the LET secondary level. Over the years the numbers have become predictable. Such is the feat of our teacher hopefuls!

Excel Review Center produced 717 topnotchers and 45,000 engineers since its organization. It is also the only review center that swept all Top 10 places for nine times, 40 first placers and 95 ECT topnotchers in the history of engineering board Exams. In 2001, it swept not 10 but all Top 20 places of the Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) board exams. Now that is a proven track record.

Excel Review Center is present in major cities in the Philippines namely, Metro Manila, Cebu, Baguio and Davao. And it will soon open in other major cities in the country. In fact, its presence goes beyond borders. Among its many firsts, Excel is the only review center that conducts review in Dubai and UAE.
Building and Facilities
Excel Review Center owns its building and facilities – a mark of stability and success. In 2009, it started the construction of its new home – a 5-storey building in the heart of Cebu City along Imus Avenue. The building is complete with amenities and a 2-storey dormitory for its reviewees. It is the first and only engneering review center to own and operate on its own building, a genuine testament of its commitment to the Review Industry.

THE EXCEL LET REVIEW PROGRAM
The Excel Let Review Program is a product of many years of research and development. It is composed of a total of 132 hours diagnostic exams, lecture and instruction, coaching and pre-board, combined. Materials and books are also provided to supplement learning. It will also utilize computer applications that will simulate computerized licensure exams, including mechanized checking of answers and item analysis. Item analysis in test preparation and assessment is the practice of analyzing student responses to individual exam questions with the intention of evaluating exam quality. This is something that Excel Review Center consciously does to uphold test effectiveness.
