Out of 329,465 hopefuls who took the Civil Service Eligibility Examination last August 11, 2024, only 47,449 emerged as successful passers—a 14.40% success rate. This achievement highlights the dedication and hard work needed to meet the high standards of public service.

1. LORRENCE ANNE ROSALES – A Bachelor in Public Administration major who justgraduated last June 2024

2. SHAIRA SHAYNE L. YBAÑEZ – a 3rd year BSBA-General Business Management major

4. EUREKA M. GALARRITA - a 3rd year BS Accountancy student

On August 8, 2024, CIT University proudly welcomed the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) team for an inspection and evaluation visit at the Fine Dining Laboratory of the Golden Gear Hotel. This visit marks a significant step in our ETEEAP deputization application for the BS Hospitality Management and BS Tourism Management programs. In line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), we remain committed to delivering top-tier education and hands-on experience, equipping our students for global opportunities.

August 5, 2024, the Faculty Members of the College of Management, Business, and Accountancy (CMBA) and the College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) united for a transformative full-day seminar.

Key highlights included:

🔹 Dr. Alexander Franco A. Delantar, Dean of CMBA, enhanced our understanding of assessment, grading, and SDG-driven research, providing valuable strategies for improving academic practices.

🔹 Dr. Evangeline C. Evangelista, Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture, showcased practical applications of OBE in Action, offering innovative approaches to outcome-based education.

This seminar provided an excellent platform for faculty members to expand their knowledge about outcome-based education and assessment, grading, and SDG-driven research. The discussions and insights gained will help in the continuous improvement of teaching methods and academic standards.

By focusing on improving educational practices and implementing outcome-based education, this seminar directly supports SDG 4: Quality Education. It ensures inclusive and equitable quality education and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all.
