CTU MAIN ADVISORY | Classes and work suspended from May 6–8 due to ASEAN Summit
Cebu Technological University- Main Campus suspends work and classes starting at 12:00 noon today, May 6, until May 8, in line with government measures for the 48th ASEAN Summit to ensure public safety and efficient traffic management.
This advisory is issued pursuant to Malacañang Palace Proclamation No. 1239, which amends Proclamation No. 1238, s. 2026, by declaring May 6–8, 2026 as special (non-working) days in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, as well as the municipality of Cordova, Province of Cebu.
Per CD Memorandum No. CD-E6-176, s. 2026, Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr. announced that offices providing essential services may adopt skeletal workforce arrangements at the discretion of their heads and in line with institutional policies.

For students who already have their Study Load or COR (Certificate of Registration), please be guided by the following steps to process your official Student ID:
Access the Portal: Visit https://idapp.ctu.edu.ph/ or scan the QR code provided.
ID RELEASING & CLAIMING:
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (except holiday)
Location: MIS Office located at EDUC Bldg. Ground Floor Room 103
Requirement: Present your COR (Certificate of Registration) to claim your ID.

LOOK | CTU appoints new Officer‑in‑Charge University President
Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, Campus Director of Cebu Technological University-San Francisco Campus, has been formally designated as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the Office of the University President, through CTU Board Resolution No. 22, series of 2026, issued by the Board of Regents.
Dr. Literatus officially assumed office as the new OIC-University President on March 16, 2026, embarking on a renewed course of university leadership, public service, and excellence in higher education.
As a trusted academic institution among the nation’s state universities, CTU looks forward to her steadfast leadership in sustaining excellence and advancing its mission and impact.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT
The Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Office received reports of pranking or deliberately startling individuals in the 6th Floor Administration Building restrooms.
One of the victims has a health condition, and such actions may pose serious risks to others. We remind everyone to refrain from pranks that may cause fear or harm.
If you notice or witness this incident, please do not hesitate to report it to the SAS Office or Campus Security immediately. In reporting, please include the name of the person involved and the college of the student.
