‎Mini UGMAD gathered its selected participants in an intimate space of critique and creation at the CTU-MC Library, where poetry was treated not as performance, but as process. Across each presentation, we witnessed courage in revision, honesty in reflection, and discipline in craft.

‎UGMAD continues to be a space where writers are shaped not only by inspiration, but by listening, dialogue, and thoughtful critique.

‎May we continue nurturing Cebuano and all Philippine languages, ensuring they remain alive not only in conversation, but in literature, education, and everyday life.

Yesterday, we gathered not merely for a program, but in shared remembrance and pride. Adlaw sa Dilang Sugboanon 2026 became a space where Cebuano was not only discussed but honored—as memory, identity, and living heritage. Through thoughtful dialogue and reflection, we were reminded that our mother tongue lives not only in speech, but in culture and consciousness, shaping how we think, write, and belong.

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part in the success of this program, most especially to our distinguished speakers, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐨 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞, for their invaluable insights and generous sharing of knowledge.

Selected for this season of Mini UGMAD: Poetry Writeshop Sessions, these fellows step into a space where writing is both discipline and discovery. Each carries a distinct voice, a different rhythm, a story waiting to be shaped into verse.

To be a fellow is not merely to participate—it is to commit. To revision. To listening. To the careful work of turning thought into poetry. Within the walls of the workshop, drafts will be questioned, lines will be strengthened, and silence will be honored. Here, growth is not rushed. It is earned.

This Friday, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Mini UGMAD gathers selected writers for an intimate exploration of verse—where language is not hurried, where metaphors are examined closely, and where each line is given the patience it deserves. Held at the 𝐂𝐓𝐔-𝐌𝐂 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, this session creates a space where poems are not simply written—they are workshopped, refined, and reimagined. Here, craft meets courage. Silence meets sound. Thought becomes form.

UGMAD has always been more than a workshop. It is a commitment to growth, to discipline, and to the quiet power of words. In this Mini UGMAD, poetry becomes both mirror and movement—a reflection of lived truths and a step toward stronger literary voices.

Galarde mahitungod sa Linguistic Features in Expository Paragraphs of Multilingual Fourth-Graders, nga maghatag og katin-awan sa kaalam ug paggamit sa atong lengguwahe diha sa akademikong kalibutan sa mga batan-ong Sugboanon.

‎We are officially halfway through Sulagpo: The CebuTech Intramurals 2026, and the atmosphere only continues to intensify.
‎Today was a testament to the enduring passion of the CebuTech community—defined by radiant smiles, unwavering teamwork, and a shared sense of belonging. From groups of friends booth-hopping under the heat of the sun to the deafening cheers supporting our athletes in every arena, the campus remains a vibrant hub of energy and pride. It is in these small moments—the shared laughter over a booth activity and the collective spirit of the crowd—that the true essence of camaraderie is found.
