𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐋 (𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐂) 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

On August 14, 2026, the Student Leadership Alliance Council (SLAC), composed of SSLG officers, class mayors, and club representatives, gathered at Computer Laboratory 2 at 1:00 PM for a leadership meeting, with the guidance of SSLG Adviser Ma’am Gemmabel Marquez.

The discussion focused on upcoming events, future plans, and the roles and responsibilities of each student leader. Proper decorum, communication, and coordination among the SSLG, classes, and clubs were also discussed to ensure that every representative understands their role and knows how they can contribute.

The meeting also gave the student leaders an opportunity to share ideas, raise concerns, and align their plans for the activities ahead. With the guidance of their adviser, the discussion became a space for everyone to better understand their responsibilities and work toward the same goals.

Through open discussion and teamwork, the SLAC continues to strengthen cooperation among student leaders and encourage everyone to take an active part in building a more organized and responsive student community.

On August 14, 2026, the Lorenzo C. Tanza Memorial National High School conducted its First General Assembly at the Jose P. Rizal Gym, Brgy. Union, at 1:00 PM.

The SSLG officers, class mayors, and club officers took part in the preparation of the venue before the program and its cleanup afterward.

Prior to the assembly, student leaders arranged the venue and ensured that the needed areas were ready for the program. After the assembly, they worked together to clean and organize the gym, returning the venue to proper order.

The preparation and aftercare highlighted the cooperation, responsibility, and initiative of student leaders in helping ensure the smooth conduct of the General Assembly.

Today, August 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), together with our Teacher-Adviser, Ma'am Gemmabel Marquez, and dedicated volunteers, personally turned over the donations generously shared by our fellow Lorenzians to our schoolmate who was recently affected by a fire.

What may seem small to us can mean so much to someone who's trying to start over. Every peso, every shirt, every kilo of rice, and every act of kindness became a reminder that no Lorenzian has to face difficult times alone.

📌 We are still accepting donations. If you would like to extend a helping hand, you may approach any SSLG Officer or our SSLG Teacher-Adviser, Ma'am Gemmabel Marquez. Whether it's cash, clothes, rice, school supplies, or any essential item, every donation is deeply appreciated.

After school hours, our Class Mayors, Club Presidents, and SSLG Officers came together, proving that leadership isn't always about leading from the front—sometimes, it's simply about showing up, lending a hand, and serving with a willing heart.

Noong Agosto 3, 2026, pormal nating binuksan ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.” Sa pagyakap natin sa makabagong teknolohiya, lalo nating pinagtitibay na ang wikang Filipino ay nananatiling buhay, makabuluhan, at matatag na haligi ng ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Nawa'y magsilbing paalala ang pagdiriwang na ito na ang tunay na pag-unlad ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa mga makabagong inobasyon, kundi sa ating kakayahang dalhin ang ating pagka-Pilipino saan man tayo dalhin ng panahon. Sapagkat habang tinatahak natin ang landas ng makabagong mundo, ang wikang Filipino ang patuloy na nag-uugnay sa ating nakaraan, nagbibigay saysay sa ating kasalukuyan, at nagbibigay-direksiyon sa ating kinabukasan.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating wika—ang wikang nagsasalaysay ng ating mga pangarap, nagpapatatag sa ating pagkakaisa, at nagpapaalala na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay nagsisimula sa pagpapahalaga sa sariling wika.

May mga bagay na hindi dapat maiwan ng paglipas ng panahon. Isa na rito ang ating sariling wika. Sa bawat salitang Filipino ay nakaukit ang ating kasaysayan, kultura, at mga pagpapahalagang humubog sa ating pagkatao at patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang isang bansa.

Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya at paglawak ng daigdig ng kaalaman, gamitin natin ang mga makabagong kasangkapan hindi upang palitan ang ating wika, kundi upang lalo pa itong mapagyaman, mapangalagaan, at maipamana sa susunod na salinlahi. Sapagkat ang tunay na pag-unlad ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa husay ng teknolohiya, kundi sa katatagan ng ating pagkakakilanlan at pagmamahal sa sariling wika.

Patuloy nating ipagmalaki ang Wikang Filipino—sapagkat ang bansang marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay bansang matatag ang pagkakakilanlan at may tiwala sa sariling kinabukasan.
