Last April 14, 2026, the Case Study 2026 Competition brought together bright ideas, strong teamwork, and impressive defenses. From preparation to presentation, every team gave their best, making the event both challenging and memorable.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished panel of judges, Atty. Jonah Marie Enerlas, CPA; Mr. Roy Satorre, CPA; Mr. Ronald Patiño, CPA, MBA; and Ms. Noreen S. Partosa, CPA, CIA, CISA, PSM I, CC, CLSSYB, for taking the time to be with us. It was truly a privilege to have you share your expertise and insights.

There are days that simply pass, and there are days that stay. This was one of those that stay.

The session went beyond discussion. It provided a clearer understanding of taxation in its practical context, shaped by relevant questions, insights, and active participation.

With sincere appreciation, we thank our resource speaker, Mr. Ryan A. Orcullo, CPA, CTT, of Orcullo Business Consultancy and a UV alumnus, for sharing his expertise. His ability to break down complex topics and relate them to real-world applications made the session both insightful and relevant.

We are also honored to have our Dean, Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, CPA, DM, visit the workshop. Your presence, even briefly, meant a lot to the organization.

Windows OS is required. Mac devices are not supported.

Due to limited venue capacity, only the first 40 students will be accommodated. Registration starts at 8:00 AM, so make sure to arrive early to secure your slot.

As we move into Day 3 of Business Week, we proudly introduce our resource speaker for “Tax Compliance Made Easy: A JPIA Filing Workshop.”

𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗔. 𝗢𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗧𝗧, our very 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘯𝘶𝘴 of the University of the Visayas, is a Tax and Compliance Manager and the proprietor of 𝗢𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆. With years of experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation, he has worked closely with businesses in navigating financial compliance and tax processes.

In this session, he will guide JPIAns through the essentials of tax compliance and filing, helping turn classroom knowledge into practical understanding.
