No! I fell asleep
Deadlines are one of the biggest enemies of students. Going to on a battlefield every day to learn new things from various courses racks up tasks that are difficult to complete all at once. Students in this scenario tend to make them from day to night, and even until the sun's rays say good morning to them. Those who are unable to manage or maximize their time when completing a task tend to procrastinate on assignments. Students become exhausted and unknowingly fall asleep while working, only to awaken and say, "No! I fell asleep."

Messy Hands and Messy Desk, but not Messy Art
This is a two part-er that displays the reality of what is most often not showcased in the media. The mess one leaves behind when making Art...
Part I
When I paint, my whole world revolves around it for a few hours. Only after I decide to put the paint brush down, is when I realized I have painted a 2nd canvas on my hands. It's such a pretty sight to see, how all the markings have been made during the process of creation. If you're a messy painter like me, I hope you can relate to loving the abstract paint marks that will suddenly appear - and how when in the middle of a really enjoyable painting, we often use our fingers as the better brush.
Part II
The messy desks. There has always been a sense of guilt and shame when I have someone over and they see just how messy my room/desk are. What they don't know, is that I've spent the last 48 hours trying to finish a plate and make it the best I could possibly make it to be. The mess one leaves behind when properly engrossed in a project is something that should be normalized, of course we should still tidy up but what I mean is that while in the period of resting, it's okay to let a product of a plate settle. Afterall, it's just proof that you gave it your all.

Starting a Drawing
Having all those late night sleep and almost no rest at all because of plates, art students tend to start and prepare all the things they need to create an art piece. When things are ready to go, the artist just needs to start the piece. But being a perfectionist artist, you are liable to overthink your piece and stress about it. These things accumulate and with the additional low energy and over fatigue, the artist/ students will be prone to sleeping instead of starting the piece.

Coffee is my new Water
For me as an art student, it’s very natural to be overwhelmed by schoolwork or feel any pressures that would cause you to feel tired and stressed out. That’s why I took this photograph that shows me holding a cup of coffee towards an unfinished plate and tell you that everything’s gonna be fine, just drink some coffee.
