So if you are going to write a vowel letter there should be a consonant letter written before it ...

The vowelㅔ(e) cannot be read because it has no consonant letter written before it. So let's write a consonant letter to make the vowel ㅔ(e) readable... In this lesson let's use the consonant letter ㅇ (i-eung)...
Remember to put the consonant first before the vowel....

*take a scratch paper to try writing it on your own*

First, write the consonant letter ㅇ.
And after that, write the vowel letter ㅔ...

This is how it would look like.....에

The following vowels are written just like the vowel ㅔ(e) :
ㅖ ㅐ ㅒ
(예) (애) (얘)

************************************************

Example #2:

The vowel ㅢ(eui) cannot be read because it has no consonant letter written before it.So let's write a consonant letter to make the vowel ㅢ (eui) readable... In this example let's use the consonant letter ㅇ (i-eung)...
Remember to put the consonant first before the vowel....But in this type of vowel letter, the consonant letter must be written above the vowel not before /beside it...

*take a scratch paper to try writing it on your own*

First, write the consonant letter ㅇ.
And after that, write the vowel letter ㅢ below the consonant...

This is how it would look like.....의

The following vowels are written just like the vowel ㅢ(eui) :
ㅘ ㅝ ㅙ ㅞ
(와) (워) (왜) (웨)

________________________________________________

The consonant ㅇ is used as a blocker so that you can read a vowel letter.
The consonant ㅇ is used if you only want to read a vowel and only a vowel...
ㅇ is the only consonant that has no sound when used as a blocker.
