What better way to begin the day than by celebrating a year filled with achievements, milestones, and shared success?

The University of Cebu–Main Campus community started the day with a meaningful Year-End Gathering and Meeting spearheaded by Dr. Yolanda C. Sayson, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and UC-Main Campus Director, bringing together the Deans, Principals, and Department Heads in a celebration of the institution's remarkable accomplishments throughout the academic year.

The morning commenced with a sumptuous breakfast, fostering camaraderie and reflection before the gathering highlighted the University's remarkable accomplishments. From board topnotchers and accreditation milestones to students' triumphs in various competitions and the outstanding achievements of academic departments, the event showcased the collective dedication, hard work, and excellence that continue to define the UC community.

More than a celebration of accomplishments, the gathering served as an opportunity to reflect on the journey, recognize the people behind every success, and renew the commitment to excellence as the University prepares for another academic year.

With words of encouragement and optimism, Dr. Sayson expressed her confidence in the University's continued growth and success, inspiring everyone to embrace new opportunities and pursue even greater achievements in the year ahead.

Together, we celebrate the journey, honor the accomplishments, and look forward to a future filled with even more milestones, innovation, and excellence.

ADVISORY: Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1239, which declares May 6 to 8, 2026 as special non-working holidays in the City of Cebu in line with the hosting of the ASEAN Summit 2026, classes are hereby suspended on the said dates. Regular classes will resume on May 9, 2026 (Saturday).

Furthermore, the final examinations for graduating students are rescheduled to May 11–12, 2026.
