From environmental campaigns and community outreach programs to partnerships, trainings, and advocacies, 44th Congress has been a year of learning and action for the Commission on Environment.

Last Wednesday, May 27, 2026, the Commission on Environment proudly took part in Pasidungog ni Jose 2026, a celebration recognizing excellence in student leadership, service, and organizational impact within the Josenian community

Guided by its commitment to environmental stewardship, integrity, and meaningful service, the Commission remained steadfast in advancing initiatives that promote sustainability, student engagement, and community involvement throughout the 44th Congress. In recognition of these efforts, the Commission was honored with the following awards:

Pasidungog ni Jose 2026 honored the Outstanding Commissioner Leaders today, May 27, 2026, recognizing student leaders whose passion and service reflected excellence within their respective commissions and throughout the Josenian community.

More than an awarding ceremony, the event became a celebration of leaders who continuously chose to move beyond expectations and embody the values of “Josenian Leadership Recollect Heart: Honoring Excellence for Service Beyond Self.”

But change begins with us.

Caring for the Earth is not just an advocacy—it is our duty.

This is a serious reminder that air quality is a growing concern we cannot ignore.

This situation calls for both awareness and action. We encourage everyone to:
• Limit outdoor exposure when air quality is poor
• Wear protective masks when necessary
• Reduce activities that contribute to air pollution
• Support and participate in environmental initiatives

More importantly, this highlights the urgent need for sustainable practices and collective efforts to protect our environment. Clean air is not a privilege—it is a right!!

🌱𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘼 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝! 🌎

Rooted in the spirit of “Bayanihan Para sa Malinis na Bayan,” the Commission on Environment carried out its Community Outreach Program last April 18 at the Recoletos EcoPark in Danao — a movement of unity, purpose, and care for our environment.

From early morning efforts to the last clean sweep of the day, volunteers came together to plant trees, clear spaces, and make a lasting impact. This reinforced the shared commitment to a greener and cleaner future.

Environmental responsibility starts with simple actions and when done together, these actions grow into meaningful change. This was held in partnership with USJ-R RIDEM and Josenian I Help. Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined, supported, and made this possible — thank you for embodying the true spirit of bayanihan! 🤝

𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙡 18, 2026, 𝙖𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝙀𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠, 𝘽𝙧𝙜𝙮. 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙡𝙤𝙜, 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪, this tree growing activity brought the community together in support of a cleaner and greener environment.
