Join us as we discuss how the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) empowers Filipinas! This July 12, Spaces Philippines is hosting a Zoom webinar featuring AWE students who will share their personal stories of struggles and success along their entrepreneurial journey.
Launched in the Philippines in 2020, AWE uses a hybrid model that combines Arizona State University’s online platform DreamBuilder with in-class mentoring and facilitation. More than 150 Filipinas have joined the free program.

The US Embassy in the Philippines through the University of San Carlos - American Corner Cebu is excited to launch the 2021 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE)-Cebu to help WOMEN bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life through a facilitated online course, DreamBuilder, developed through a partnership between Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. The program will be co-implemented by the Center for Social Entrepreneurship.

ELIGIBILITY
▪ Women age 23 and older
▪ Have a business idea or with an existing business
▪ Possesses basic computer skills (with laptop or computer desktop + 5mbps (min) internet connection)
▪ Minimal previous business training
▪ Able to commit on average five (5) hours per week to AWE
▪ Proficient in the English language
IMPORTANT DATES
Deadline of Registration: 12 June 2021
Notification of Acceptance: 14 June 2021
Duration of the Program: 16 June to 10 September 2021
