The USPF College of Teacher Education, Arts, and Sciences student leaders and faculty shared their sincere community extension with their donations from the USPF National Service Training Program and - A CebuFed Relief Operation for the victims of natural disasters.

The donation drive was spearheaded by the president of USPF Psychology Society Hon. Shella Kathleen Dayday and it was co-facilitated by Hon. Josh Almonte, Hon. Roniel Lois Cabalhug, Hon. Wilfredo Ompad Jr., Hon. Lance Andrei Libaste, and Hon. Lorenz Aaron I. Ybanez. They were supported by the CTEAS Dean Dr. Janet Arcana, Teacher Education Program Chairwoman Ms. Marry Ann Aclao, and AB Music Program Coordinator Mr. Magno Aquino Jr.

The Cebu Caritas, Inc. - Commission on Service (CCI-CoS), which is well known for responding to major emergencies and developmental programs that help the marginalized sector of the society, was the recipient of the donations.

Magic filled the air and the spirit of Christmas was heard, seen, and felt as the AB Music Society successfully commemorate their first seasonal concert, “The Sound of Life” last December 5, 2022, at the USPF theater.

Magic filled the air and the spirit of Christmas was heard, seen, and felt as the AB Music Society successfully commemorate their first seasonal concert, “The Sound of Life” last December 5, 2022, at the USPF theater.

The concert was spearheaded by the AB Music Society together with their successful collaboration with the Seven Spirit, Jules Chevalier Music Ministry, and Clymel School of Music.

It was a story-driven concert using Ryan Kenneth Samsona’s playwright, a first-year AB Music student as its main storyline; the live orchestra, the AB Music Chorus Class, and actor-narrator, Mr. Richy Tan gave life to the story and orchestrated a concert to remember.

“The Sound of Life” was made into reality with the all-out support of the USPian community, the remarkable hosting of Antoine Montecalvo and Sarah Mae Abuhan, and the initiation of the AB Music Department with the aid of the College of Teacher Education, Arts and Sciences.

As the AB Music Department moves forward with one tune, one key, and one note at a time, the USPF theater will be filled with grandiose sound again as they prepare for their next upcoming concert together with the Japanese Musicians, “UUU” – “Music Unites the World” this coming month of February 2023 in line with the celebration of the University Days.
