A Special Visit at SMIT

Yesterday, April 19, 2026, the Saint Monica Institute of Theology (SMIT) was honored to host a courtesy visit from Rev. Fr. Enrico C. Eusebio Jr., SJ, JCD, Former President and permanent Faculty member of the Loyola School of Theology (LST) Manila.

Fr. Eusebio was warmly received at Tabor Hill by: Rev. Fr. Annacletus C. Nzewuihe, OAD, SThD (Director of SMIT), Rev. Fr. Luigi Kerschbamer, OAD (Provincial of the OAD San Nicholas of Tolentino Province) together with OAD priests in Tabor Hill.

It was a meaningful afternoon of fraternity and shared commitment to theological excellence and formation. We are deeply grateful for his visit and the continued strengthening of bonds between our institutions.

Today March 6, 2026, the Saint Monica Institute of Theology OAD held our Lenten Recollection.

In his reflection, our speaker emphasized that this sacred season of Lent, "we are called not only to fast but also to listen to Godā€™s voice in silence and reflection."

We are grateful to our today's facilitator, Rev. Fr. Regino Carlo P. Godinez, SDB, MMEdA, JCL, also member of our Faculty at Saint Monica Institute of Theology. Indeed, it was an inspiring recollection!

May today's reflection help us as SMIT Community to grow in faith, strengthen our relationship with God, and live out the true spirit of Lent.

The spirit of Sinulog was deeply felt during the Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Luigi Kerschbamer, OAD as the Saint Monica Institute of Theology (SMIT) and Tabor Hill College (THC) gathered in faith and devotion to SeƱor Santo NiƱo.
Through prayer, praise, and thanksgiving, we celebrated not only the Sinulog spirit, but also our unity as one community rooted in faith.

Viva Pit SeƱor! šŸŽ‰
Saint Monica Institute of Theology (SMIT) together with Tabor Hill College (THC) joyfully celebrated the first day of novena in honor of SeƱor Santo NiƱo with the opening salvo today January 21, 2026 at St. Joseph Chapel Tabor Hill.
The Novena Mass was presided over by our school director Fr. Annacletus C. Nzewuihe,OAD, STh.D. In his homily he reminded the two Schools about the need to be united as one which he connected with the theme of this Sinulog Fiesta "OAD Tabor Hill to Mission: One in Santo NiƱo, Igniting Minds and Hearts Hearts."
May this novena deepen our faith and strengthen our love for Christ, the Holy Child.
