Dear HTM Students,

We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for being part of our educational community. Your commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work have truly made a difference in our institution, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

Throughout your time with us, you have shown tremendous dedication to your studies, personal growth, and the pursuit of knowledge. Your thirst for learning, your determination to overcome challenges, and your willingness to engage in meaningful discussions have inspired us as educators and as fellow learners.

We have witnessed your growth and development firsthand, both academically and personally. It has been a privilege to watch you evolve into the exceptional individuals you are today. Your achievements, big and small, have brought joy and pride to all of us who have had the pleasure of being part of your educational journey.

Beyond your academic accomplishments, we want to acknowledge your resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity. We also want to recognize the support and encouragement you have provided to one another. Your friendships, collaborations, and acts of kindness have fostered a sense of community that is truly special. You have created an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and included, and for that, we are immensely proud.

As you move forward in your educational journey or embark on new adventures, we want you to carry with you the knowledge, skills, and values you have acquired during your time with us. Remember the power of curiosity, the importance of critical thinking, and the impact of compassion. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and never stop pursuing your dreams.

Finally, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for allowing us to be part of your lives. It has been an honor and a privilege to be your educators, mentors, and guides. You have enriched our lives in ways words cannot fully express, and we will always cherish the memories we have created together.

Wherever your path leads you, know that you carry our best wishes and support with you. We have faith in your abilities and confidence in your potential to make a positive impact on the world.

As part of their final grade, the 1st year Hospitality Management students had their hands on activity where they showcased their talents and capabilities in making their own dishes unique. The β€œCEC Master Chef”was held at the kitchen laboratory of Gaisano Building under the instructor of Kitchen Essentials subject, Ms. Jennifer Orbes with the assistance of other HTM Instructors and our HTM Dean, Ms. Annie Mallare.

All of the 1st year HM students took their part and gave their best inside the kitchen. CEC Master Chef was one of the programs during the HTM Culminating Event.

In the baking industry, cake decorating should be a necessary ability. Cake decorating is the process of transforming your standard, dull confection into something beautiful, Instagrammable, and above all, delicious. The majority of cakes are adorned to add a decorative flourish and to improve the cake's aesthetic appeal.

The third-year hospitality management students participated in the HTM Culminating Week by participating in the cake decorating event instructed by Ms. Lea Dadol and Mr. Edmund Rey Aparilla under the subject "Bread and Pastry."

Look| A feasibility study assesses the viability of your project plan to determine if you can proceed with the project or not. The feasibility study's goal is to give you the knowledge you need to decide whether the suggested business endeavor is viable.

The panelists for the second-year tourism management students' defense of their feasibility study were Mr. Joshua Gequillo and Ms. Erica Virtucio, and it took place last Friday, June 16, 2023.

The BSHM1 students participated in a hands-on exercise in Ms. April Abella's Fundamentals in Food Service Operations sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 where they demonstrated their skills for basic table skirting and were judged on their creativity in table decoration.

Any table may be made from dull and boring to neat and professional-looking by adding a table skirt! Table skirts are a fantastic way to enhance the overall appearance of your display, whether you're putting everything together for a business event or giving away free samples to highlight your products.

There will always be a Festival Queen at every festival dance, recognized as the finest lead dancer among all the dancers. The BSHM2 student Festival Queens competed today to help the judges decide on who will win as the Festival Queen at the Hospitality Management Culminating event.

The winner and the one who caught the judges' attention is from section 2, which represents the Panagbenga Festival. The first runner-up is from section 1, while the second runner-up is from section 3.

The second-year BSHM students put their all into their preparation, which included creating their own props, choreographing their performance, and presenting it in the GB Conference Room. We can infer that students are very eager to give a passionate performance.

Though the students put up fantastic performances and had colorful props, only three of the contingents were victorious in the dancing competition. The section 4 dancers who won the competition performed the Dinagyang Festival; the section 1 dancers who placed first performed the Pinyasan Festival; and the section 2 dancers who placed second performed the Panagbenga Festival.

Following yesterday's Tourism Day, the second-year hospitality management students were able to participate in the Gaisano Building's Barrio Fiesta. The food within the decorated room and the decorations on the walls show how well-prepared the BSHM2 students were for this event.

Though all of the rooms that the second-year HM students decorated were fantastic, the Judge's favorite came from section 4, followed by the 1st runner-up from section 1 and the 2nd runner-up from section 3. Students from the department of hospitality management are genuinely as creative as we believe.

Every province has a unique festival to honor its customs, religion, traditions, or history that is held at a particular period of the year. One festival in particular, Sinulog, is regarded as the Queen of all celebrations due to the scale of its celebration and its historical significance.

First-year BSTM1 Section 6 Rosquillos Festival representative was crowned Festival Queen, followed by first-year Section 1 Panagbenga Festival and BSTM1 Section 5 Sinulog Festival as the 2nd runner-up. Students studying tourism should be proud of their abilities and appearance.
