Congratulations to Team Panther Coderz of the CCS Department, USPF for securing 3rd Place at HackEstate 2025, held last April 14–15 at the Sacred Heart Center, Dionisio Jakosalem St., Cebu City!

Composed of Paul Ryan Alducente, Lloyd Rosales, and Hans Christian Magbal, and guided by their coach, Ms. Cyrille Pador, the team stood out in the PropTech Philippines Inc., in partnership with Filipino Homes, for their innovative approach, technical excellence, and creative problem-solving.

After days of intense competition, creativity, and camaraderie, CCS Days 2025 came to a triumphant conclusion on March 14, 2025, at the USPF AVR, Jueco Building. The adrenaline-pumping Amazing Race set the stage for the much-awaited Hackathon Final Pitch, where the brightest minds of CCS took the spotlight—transforming weeks of hard work into groundbreaking tech solutions. From creative problem-solving to seamless ex*****on, every presentation reflected the passion, dedication, and ingenuity of our future innovators.

The celebration reached its peak with the Awarding Ceremony and Closing Program, recognizing outstanding performances across all events—from thrilling tech battles to strategic challenges.

March 13, 2025, was a testament to the brilliance and competitive spirit of CCS students! The day kicked off with the Southern Innovation Research Forum, where our 4th-year students showcased their ingenuity, presenting groundbreaking thesis and capstone projects at the Main Function Hall, USP-F. From innovative tech solutions to real-world applications, their dedication and expertise left the audience inspired.

As the sun climbed higher, the energy soared with the CCS Sports Olympics, proving that CCS isn’t just about codes and algorithms—it’s also about strength, strategy, and teamwork! From intense spikes in volleyball to fast breaks in basketball and swift rallies in badminton, each match displayed passion, dedication, and competitive spirit.

A huge congratulations to all participants—both in research and sports—for making this day an incredible celebration of talent, perseverance, and camaraderie!

On March 12, 2025, CCS Days became a hub of innovation, learning, and creativity as we celebrated both the ICT Talks and ICT Skills Competition at the University of Southern Philippines Foundation.

In the ICT Talks, the Main Function Hall was filled with inspiration as esteemed industry partners—Exodia, Carmelab, Accenture, TESDA, NOAH, and Chanel—shared their expertise on the ever-evolving world of technology. From groundbreaking advancements to real-world applications, these thought-provoking discussions connected students with the industry, paving the way for future collaborations and opportunities.

Meanwhile, the ICT Skills Competition at the CCS Laboratories highlighted the incredible talent of our students in various categories, including Programming, Arts & Animation, Digital Poster Making, and Web Development. Their creativity, logic, and technical expertise showcased the bright future of tech and design!

January 28, 2025, Exodia, an outsourcing game development company, officially signed a partnership with USPF. Our CCS students attended the event, engaging with the industry professionals and asking insightful questions about game development and outsourcing. 𝗖𝗖𝗦 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

On January 25, 2025 (Saturday), our CCS students actively participated in the Green Day Project, an initiative organized by the Supreme Student Government. The event took place in Sitio Casili, Barangay Kalunasan, bringing together students and volunteers in a collective effort to promote environmental sustainability. Through this initiative, participants contributed to reforestation efforts and emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility. The event served as a reminder that small actions, such as planting trees, play a vital role in building a greener and healthier future.
