USJ-R School of Engineering and Architecture

The USJ-R School of Engineering and Architecture officially inked a partnership with 𝗗𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗟𝗟𝗖 through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at OITC 3, Oakridge Business Park, A.S. Fortuna, Banilad, Mandaue City, Cebu.

The event began with a company presentation by DIS Tech Philippines, followed by the introduction of participants led by Mr. Gamaliel Bas from DIS Tech Philippines and Dr. Dennis Anthony Kilongkilong from USJ-R. The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in faculty immersion, student internships, and joint research initiatives.

The MOU was officially signed by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮, Vice President of Global Design, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘀, Human Resources Manager of DIS Tech Philippines, together with 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴, Dean of the School of Engineering and Architecture. The agreement signifies both institutions’ commitment to bridging academic learning and industry practice by providing students and faculty with opportunities for professional growth, innovation, and real-world engineering exposure.

Through this collaboration, students are expected to gain valuable industry experience that will help prepare them for future careers in engineering and technology, while faculty members will benefit from industry immersion and collaborative research initiatives. The partnership also opens opportunities for the development of joint programs, technical training, and knowledge-sharing activities that will further enhance engineering education and strengthen industry-academe relations.

The event concluded with a networking session where representatives from both institutions exchanged ideas and discussed future collaborations aimed at fostering innovation, excellence, and sustainable partnerships in the field of engineering and technology.
